Hi, regarding the F-35 suggestion: I understand this is “just” a suggestion, however including only one variant for some countries when multiple variants are in operational service is limiting.
Italy has operated both the A and B variants for years, both fully operational and deployed. Japan, while initially operating only the A, has begun integrating the B. As of today, both nations have A and B in service.
When real, operational variants exist, representing only one does not reflect real-world service. The USA, of course, operate all three variants (A, B, and C) and should be represented as such.
Supersonic would be higher on Su-30SM2 as well, because 2 engines are producing far more thrust for a lower speed.
So yeah, the Su-30SM2’s supersonic drag is likely correct as well.
If J-10C had Su-30SM2’s supersonic drag, it wouldn’t even reach mach 1.2 if it went supersonic at all.
WTRTI setting gives drag from localhost.
Suggestions are not vehicle announcements.
Just because a suggestion is only one variant doesn’t change the fact Gaijin will likely add them to all applicable tech trees when they’re ready for release. [As per their Q&A and statements made previously.]
Yep the drag is correct after a bug report went up for top speed and deck alt speed, all the 30SM variants (SM,MKM) were adjusted to it.
So Nah, the 30sm variants dont need higher drag. Thats imaginary drag if people think for whatever reason it should have higher drag.
The variants / operators passed is not relevant. Its just a suggestion topic. Suggestions being passed do not mean only that variant or only that nation may be considered or planned. Or at all in some vehicles cases.
Question, are there any more sub-TT’s planned for Italy, since Rank VII and Rank VIII ground forces are pretty lacking content wise compared to other nations, especially Rank VIII.
And when can we expect Hungary WWII Air to be implemented after 3 years?
Nobody did, we simply argued J-10 has too much non-induced drag, alvis took out an extreme and almost non-comparable SU30 as comparison, which is like twice as big of a plane.
If it also had two engines. There is a reason Cd values are used at all, they are not subject to the size, J-10 should have similar Cd0 values to other canard deltas, yet it currently stands almost twice as high.
So for 5th gen Japan has got quite a few options at hand, we all know they’ll get their F-35A & B’s but via there subs they could potentially could get the KF-21, KAAN & Su-57s. Makes you wonder what we could see for Japan in the future.
Yeah it’s been going off for about a year at this point but if I’m correct Malaysia’s air force is super familiar with Russian types so I wouldn’t be too surprised if they were to pick the Su-57E
