Up to 4 actually. The belly pylons are for r40 afaik. You can run them on double pylons on the wings tho.
Okay. So im in my Sea harrier armed with 2x Aim-9Ls.
How do I engage a Mig-25?
4 double r60 pylons under the wings
total of 8
You ground pound and hope he cant find you XD.
Yep, thats what it sounds like

Thanks for sharing that, couldn’t find it
fly below 60m and you’re permanently immune to it
Should be only 1 pylon under each wing afaik, + the 2 belly pylons for a loadout of 4 missiles, usually 2x R40r, and 2x r40t. This was changed on the PD variant to allow 1 set of double racks on each wing pylon. which allows a maximum of 6 missiles with 4x r60ms and 2 r40. I’m not 100% sure, but this is what i recall from memory.
i can give the source i found if you want but the problem idk if its a ussr upgrade or ukraine upgrade after the fall of ussr
sure
Unless they fire down onto you. Which will already mitigate MP entirely normally. I do this all the time with the Skyslug SuperTEMP against base bombing Mig-23s.
But with its large warhead as well… It will act a lot like Aim-54s do in that regard.
So “Stay below 60m” against an aircraft thats probably sititng at 3-5k at least, firing large warhead SARH is just not going to work.
Also it has IR versions too.
Ima be real, what am i looking at. Its very low resolution.
Calm down, young man, you’re exaggerating the threat of the MiG-25 too much, just like the Americans thought. Remember that it will be difficult to use, and most players won’t know how to use it correctly and won’t like it. Few will know how to use it intelligently. And if you’re in your Sea Harrier against a MiG-25, go attack AI on the ground, lol. If it comes to get you, just make a few turns and it will pass right by you because it won’t turn.

No. Im realistically concerned about ANOTHER under BRed Soviet aircraft.
as it stands. Mig-23 ML / MLD, Su-33 and Su-30Mk2 are all under BRed.
Really dont want to deal with something that could outrun top tier jets at a BR where it would still be facing subsonics consistantly. Potentially some with no/limited RWRs or limited CMs.
Okay, That’s news to me. I appreciate it.
Just noticed, but is the thing under the nose the same IRST as the MiG-23?
yes
