We literally have the H.P.12, what was wrong with the fighters? Zeppelin I could understand (still hope it arrives) but the fighters didn’t look problematic whatsoever.

“You can play the Fokker D.VIII in the upcoming Aces of Thunder soon.” Meanwhile it’s been delayed for a year and radio silence since August.
It’s genuinely a shame we couldn’t keep the fighters, would be awful to play currently but like the tanks would just be more of a collectors thing. Or even have the other fighters they’ve modelled for Aces of Thunder, the Sopwith Camel and Fokker Dr.1.
I have got suggestions up though for WW1 air in general so hopefully they’ll be approved. (At some point).

People say these are boring but often these are coming from players who only play top tier and 9 times out of 10 complain about C&P. At least for the majors WW1 would totally bring a new way of fighting.

Yep, I think with all the changes they kinda lost what the game meant so they’ve props gone back to the drawing board for it to not be similar to war thunder just with a different menu.

The fighters ended up being exclusive to the illusive Aces of Thunder which we still don’t even have a release window for. And seeing as the majority of players likely won’t have VR or HOTAS controls they would never actually get to play them.

I mean, for a while this thread did seem entirely taken over by people discussing modern day jets. Which aren’t my cuppa, but trying to start an argument about what WW2 machines I want inbetween their chatter proved to be futile.
