Many players come into a Match thinking it’s Call of Duty or Battlefield, where the scoreboard is all about racking up kills.
What they don’t realise is that War Thunder isn’t built around lone-wolf fragging, it’s about coordinated teamwork. Success comes from capturing zones, repairing allies under fire, providing cover, and keeping the group moving as a unit.
A single player chasing kills might look good on paper, but a team that works together wins matches
The worst part is that there is an incentive to play ground battles like CoD, since nukes exist
As popular as nukes seem to be, not only are they badly implemented, they also usually reward the people that play a lone wolves, rather than playing with their team.
It’s just so infuriating to see my teams disappear while I’m trying to play supportive…
Useless but cool describes most of the suggestions I’ve made and that are pending. If added they would be functionally useless but are interesting and things that I would kill to have in-game.
3rd line in the coastal tree :")
could start off with the smaller ones around tier II, ending with a fully kitted out Abercrombie at tier V or even VI
in terms of BRs and spawn locations it’ll be a right mess but thats what coastal is all about
On a technicality, we do, in fact, have at least one paper ship in-game. As per Gaijin, they modeled the Battlecruiser Amagi on the 1919 Preliminary design studies rather than the finalized design to which the ship was laid down. So, in effect, the Amagi we have in-game is not representative of the Amagi that was laid down irl. Instead, as previously stated, it’s a Prelim design.
Can’t wait for people to be flabbergasted at how strong the 30SM2 and Su35S engine’s are, AL41F1S…14,500 kgf pre engine. That would be a 4660 kgf buff to the 30SM ingame right now 🤣
