Someone had to come first. Probably a reasonable chance something for UK won’t be far behind. Besides, the French TT needed this more than the UK TT, and I have played both to top tier.
WHO wants a trainer with no weapons?
And why would it get no weapons?
I think you forgot the part where you do a 30 seconds research to check what you’re about to claim
The M47 at 7.3 it’s a perfectly valid choice without having to resort to the Hungarian T-54 (7.7 or 8.0)
I distinctly remember that Italy was among the main users of that tank — if not the very first one after the U.S., of course.
While the Hungarian T-34 and IS2 are perfect at other BR
That a different boxer in is picture (boxer a1 by lockheed martin)
your right that the ct40 would problaby come to frence/germany
Yeah, Italy was the main user of M47 after USA, according to wikipedia there were 2580 tanks in service.
As for Hungarian tanks, I’m not sure about T-34s, but IS-2 is needed for sure as it’s basically the only remaining real option for Italian TT to have a regular heavy tank.
I realize it’s a stretch, but I’m still hoping for 44M Tas. It could be classed as heavy or medium, depending on how you look at it.
I doubt it will ever come (maybe only as some event vehicle) since we don’t even have a photo of the prototype.
I see sub-trees as a kind of complement — something that fills in what’s missing from the main tree, just like it was meant to be in Gaijin’s original philosophy. The Italian tree you already know inside out, no doubt about that. Just a few C&Ps would be enough to improve it, especially in those BR ranges where we don’t have a proper medium tank.
At 5.7 you’ve got the T34/85, at 7.3 the M47, and adding something like the IS-2 as a heavy at 6.7 would really help — because right now the M46s are under heavy pressure at that BR, given how many U.S. and German heavies there are around.
No big point in chasing exotic stuff. The TAS44 is an interesting project, sure, but it’s definitely not a clear one. And lately, we’ve seen that a lot of vehicles are ending up as paid content anyway — just look at the PzH 2000 or the Tigris.
C&Ps aren’t ideal, but at least they fill the gaps — and they’re real vehicles that were actually used.
So the Benelux has 16 aircraft, how many did the Swedish have after their CBT launch ?
They had 28 at the time of there CBT, so if gaijin adds 12 more aircraft for the Benelux then that was on the same level as Sweden at launch.
My god i hope they dont gimp yhe CTA 40 and the jaaaag
yeah sorry got the names mixed up its a different boxer made by LMUK for the trials to replace the Warrior
we thought that with the Stormmer 30 when the VCC-80/30 was added it still isnt in the game, we thought that when the M3A3 was added and it took 3 years for the desert warrior im no where near as hopeful as you are
Honestly yeah, I agree, better have something to create lineups now, than wait 8 years for a unique model to realize that it only comes as a premium, because it was made by a player.
I have dubious feelings about copypaste, on the one hand I would like ingenious designs to come instead, on the other hand I also want to get at least something each update without a need to wait so much and be eventually disappointed in one way or another.
I was thinking about Hungarian or Romanian Panther, but T-34-85 can be also added, maybe as “Hungarian revolution” premium.
Spoiler
Take a guess at how good a gun that fires sub-76mm darts at 200 RPM will be lmao
It’s going to be a bushmaster with slightly better pen and post-pen damage,at best
And there will probably be some first-stage ammo-rack shenanigans that will somehow make it worse to use than a Bushmaster XD
might wanna mention its LMUK we know how US players can be when a US company is mentioned making anything /j
Ahould have like 70+ round ready rack, over 190mm of pen and decent airburst rounds… but this is a french/british gun system so who knows how they mess it up
Rather want the Patria LM40 turret tbh looks more polished
