The only Water enviroment that isnt activly trying to drown amphibius Vehicles i can think of RN is the Lake at Kuban.
Edit: just tryed it and the water there is soooo smooth that i have almost zero wobbles with the Typ 63 and can shoot as if its stabilized when standing still or moving at max speed.
They should just copy the water code from Kuban to all Lakes and Rivers XD
So its definitly not a problem on the Tank physiks side but the type of water they used on most maps

will we ever see the M163 get un-borked and get its amphibousness back? it has a very similar set up time to the BMPs and theres no real reason to have removed it to even begin with as it can swim without the need of “swimming gear”
The Devs believe the M163 needs “preparation” to be amphibious
yeah i’ve seen the bug reports before.
the whole issue with “swimming curtains” is stupid because it quite literally does not need them to sim. the BMPs take 15 minutes to prepare to swim and the m113s only 5 more minutes. theres also modifications of BMPs that are meant to make them unable to swim due to the weight yet they still can in game
