Reject modern, return to cold war. ERC 90 sagaie, Saladin, V-150/300/600 commando, more Ratels, Ferrets, GKN Simba, BRDMs, etc.
Generally much more interesting/weird and wild.

So i’m playing the J-11 - awfull vehicle BTW.
But when someone is firing a missle at me, and i flare or chaff, the missle still hits me.
What am i doing wrong here? Especially with radar missles, when almost touching the ground (altitude of 0-80 meters), notching and firing chaff, the missle still hits me. Can someone explain why?
Also, why does the radar of the J-11 almost never work?
Not right thread for this, but… hmm, lets see. Which J-11 are we talking one? The baseline (the copy of Su-27), the “Worst Fox-3 slinger (on their release)” J-11A or, the latest, J-11B?
And that missile you’re being hit with? IR or radar guided (semi or active)?
Just the J-11… The base one.
Missles, basically all you named.
Semi and Active. Also IR is not being flared. From AIM-9L to Python’s.
J-11 and J-11A are some of the worst top tier planes out there, while the J-11B is fantastic.
I recommend you go watch some notching tutorials on YouTube its hard to explain without showing examples

Well… i know how to notch. I fly perpendicular to the radar beam, but when i chaff (thus creating a chaff cloud when flying perpendicular to the enemy radar) the radar missle still locks at me and goes right through the chaff cloud killing me in the proces.
So i wonder what i’m doing wrong… since, how does a radar missle still lock at me when i’m leaving a chaff cloud behind me.
You’re doing it wrong, Simple as.
