I was thinking 3 alts
Low and slow recon drone
Subsonic and medium alt
High alt and low supersonic
I know, but they were in the Moments of Valor France which is pretty interesting

Maybe low alt could be the attack drones like the MQ-1 along with slow attackers like the A-10.
Mid alt could be cargo planes or light bombers with possibly a fighter escort.
High alt could be heavy/modern bombers with fighter escort.
There could also be very high alt that could be for stuff like the U-2 or SR-71 or other recon aircraft.
Obviously relying on getting some cargo aircraft and others in-game. But we could get something following this but with already in-game models as sort of placeholders.
I was thinking just the recon objective type could remain largely the same as is in number of aircraft.
So yeah, attack drone flying low and slow
medium alt subsonic fighter with reccy pod
high alt supersonic fighter with reccy pod (though low supersonic so its not a pain to intercept)
You could also have an AWACS that stays over it’s team’s airfield and that could have an escort.
But yeah, you could do the same with all other objective types too. Like breaking the bomber formation down into ultra low alt interdictors without escort and medium alt fighter-bombers with escort and high alt strategic bombers with escort.
Like MythicPI has got suggestions up for a lot of this but could be taken even further

None of this really makes sense for the top-tier ARB scenario.
In a peer to peer A2A confrontation there wouldn’t be any cargo planes or heavy bombers flying directly into the center
Scout/spy planes is already a stretch
Its more for ASB than ARB and not necessarily just top tier.
Though in Red Flag exercises you do get things like Hercules dropping off special forces. There was a great section in Paul Tremelings book where he intercepts one of these in his Sea Harrier FA2 and proceeds to “unload” missiles into it
It doesn’t really make any more sense in ASB either.
If maps were bigger only additional thing I’d suggest was AWACS for both sides, improved AI jets… not sabers. and AA exclusion zones for added
SEAD spice
Oh and add playable helicopters

Yeah but we currently have mach 10 MiG-15’s flying around F-16’s and Eurofighters so I think reality and what makes sense is out the window
Sure, the maps are too small. But F-86 Sabres flying in perfectly straight lines whilst being shot at by a Typhoon FGR4 firing Aim-120C5s needs to change and there is loads it could change too.
But even within the micro maps gaijin forces at top tier. There is loads that could easily be added and we need more diversity at all BRs. just breaking the current objectives down into sub-types would be an extremely easy way to add diversity without much effort and changing the aircraft types, speeds and alts to be different each time the objective spawns just seems like a stupidly easy way to achieve that with the current limitaitons. (Inlcuding the big one which is the devs dont actually like SB)

I loved how people got so hyped over moments Canadian valor as they though having a Canadian skin on the hornet means no Canadian hornet but also forgetting that market skins means jack all.
Oh no, British Comet got a Finish skin I guess that means no Finnish Comet, oh wait.
Oh no, A Finnish D.XXI got a Dutch skin I guess that means no Dutch D.XXI, oh wait.

Common sense approach increase the bhp and torque of the tractor, reduce the mass of the trailer.
This is basic stuff we did in secondary school Physics.

Why? The only way we get gaijin to fix things is to complain. Hell im still complaining about the US 105mm nerf to M735 which was done and never reversed despite gaijin changing it even though they got it wrong. The whole point of the forum is for discussion and complaints about poorly implemented mechanics. I dont see people just giving up about the poor state of the AIM 120’s and their smoke trails they shouldn’t have, or the C5 being nerfed into a point where its a side grade to the B.
But yes lets just give up because thats clearly a better thing to do
