Are those F-18E only?
I think they are all hornets and some other naval jets.
And to add the new increase in max BR to 14.3 which technically leaves the US with no 14.3 aircraft, suspiciously happening right before an update that hints at a possibly US aircraft that they can cram into 14.3.
It won’t be very good at 14.3, but then again the F-15E also isn’t truely on par with the EFT and Rafale. And Gaijin has shown little regard for vehicles capabilities in the past when it comes to their placement.
If the Super Hornet is the hype jet of the patch I’ll gladly start looking forward for the November update.
So could and probably should be added to the existing F-18Cs anyway.
Yep.
In the Community Update 7:
Anything besides that one?
This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.
AGM84 SLAM-ER: Airborne standoff Cruise missile
Kh-38: Anti ship missile
different class, doesn’t count
also also: a counter is sth to defeat the other, not to Compete with it
a counter would be a SAM system with a greater effective range than Kh-38 not a diffrent weapon with the same target group and more range
if you want AGM84 you have to prepare for Storm Shadow and Taurus, which both outrange it
True… Though they would also get 1000s complaints about it not having Aim-9X and Aim-120Ds
It’s the same hint they gave for the March update, when both Hornets were already leaked.
I think it’s pretty safe to say this second hint is for the Super Hornet.
Not the slam er tho, never said that…
It was on the Hornet’s sting leak list:
Spoiler
no weapon of this class has been added to game, and neither will AGM84
Where my F14D :'(
The country who made alot of different and very iconic planes and happens to be very popular in game gets alot of planes in game. Who would gave guessed.
lost to the drawing boards
F14D has almost a 1000Votes and still hasnt been added feels biased as its been around for a while
And some people believe Super Hornet with only 4 AIM-174B while being slow and carrying very heavy missiles will be the best 4th gen BVR aircraft
