Yeah Britain 12.0 isn’t very strong, but on the other hand they have a really decent 11.7 lineup. Having an 11.7 lineup is such a gift at the moment. So yeah in that case I would be fine with saying just don’t play 12.0.
Hell if anybody would ask advice for top tier US I would tell them the same thing: “Screw 12.0, the SEPv1/SEPv2/CLAWS are just not worth it. Stick to 11.7”
Again, winrates mean nothing. Minor nations like Britain, Japan, France, etc. Always make up the minority of the team. You never get pure Britain vs other nations.
A nearly 50% winrate is the average for all Minor nations. USSRs has only dropped off because they cant just auto win with KH-38MT spam

If you get a downtier and are mostly facing 10.7s, sure. If not, you are facing 12.0+ tanks, without the few advantages of the 2x “12.0” CR2s like APS from the BN.
Though if these tanks are only good when fighting 10.7s (which, btw the CR2 can be lolpenned by the 105mm Abrams at 10.7) then surely they should be a lower BR or they should decompress ground and move things like the 2A7 up to 13.0
