The pantsir missile is silly easy to dodge if you know it’s coming. Just dive and roll and it’ll wobble like mad
I have played with the rafale a bit to test out how CAS performs in the new SLM META, and I would say the CS/SA5 is a pretty good SPAA overall, but definitely not ground breaking. Still no match compared to the SLM, but it’s about as dangerous to fight as a pantsir. While the pantsir has the range advantage and much faster missiles, the FB10A is pretty strong up to 10-12km, and is fire and forget and also has a much better guidance than the Pantsir missile (you can easily wobble their missiles by rolling and evade that way). It’s also surprisingly flare resistant imo, I mostly evade them kinematically. It is still a complete struggle against things like KH38MT AASM IR and other FnF weapons tho, so it’s definitely not ground breaking
Honestly I would just place them like this in their current state:
- SLM to 12.7
- Pantsir and CLAWS to 12.3
- CS/SA5 stays 12.0 with the ItO
- EldE and Spyder to 11.7
Not too sure about the tan sam, either stay at 12.0 or move to 11.7. Still conflicted.
Spyder really as bad as the ADATS?

5km too much. it’ll fall out of the sky tracking a jet at that distance
And 90% of the time the DL tracking logic will prevent the Seeker fron locking the target ill end up flying next to the target instead of intercepting the target
It’s at best a sidegrade from the HQ-17 not 12.0 material
It is quite sad. Python loses 80% of energy to wobbling, derby does too, but to something, no one knows to what. Radar is doing radar things. Can’t launch using optics. Basically anything can overpressure it if you hit the radar.

Having suffered 17 games in it, I actually prefer my adats over the spyder:
- radar is horrible in many different ways
- Python 5 are rng everytime you launch one if it actually goes into TRK mode or just stays in IOG (it has no DL to help it).
- Derbys are just bad.
Also add that the points Devil made.
EDIT: the adats also isn’t without it’s flaws of course, but at least you can play around them or take them into account. The spyder feels like a giant rng machine and there is nothing you can do except hope that you get lucky.

It’s an interesting aircraft but it’s weak engines and quite poor armaments would probably put it under the current F-16

so when we gonna see some real german SPAA that arent fake at 5.7-6.0
cause ostwind 2 and zestorer 45 are flat out fake on guns made for zestorer
mind you the removed FLAK 341 was more real than both of these as guns and hull did exist
but where removed because not real but doesnt add up with these 2

How do you know, I’ve never heard of any command guidance being needed for that role.
Germany currently has a 5.3, 6.0 and 7.0 SPAA.
Many other nations dont have this many options to choose from. Whilst we are always looking to plug serious gaps, our focus is currently not Germany in this department right now.

i know but why did you pick these ones specifically after removing the 341 and adding in more barely built or not real stuff
bergepanther D could replace Zestore pretty easily and no one would be mad as its a real SPAA its just adding problems for future

There was sufficient evidence to show they existed in some form and for their inclusion. So we dont have any current plans to replace them.
