Assuming they delivered the EF togheter with the AESA and not M-Scan they delivered the first one in 2021 to the Qatari Air Force, and they have 20 of the ordered 24.
Kuwait is a bit harder to find info on but apparently they have 15 out of 28 with deliveries having started in 2021.
They aren’t but it means that the reason for no AESA radars for Main Members isn’t lack of technology, just that Europe as usual is behind on defense investment.
They are, I do think in modern warfare an AESA Radar is great for if you cannot already see absoluely everything. With recent air combat events one side broke down how they had EWACS airframe deconflicting and queuing targets for aircraft and air defence systems.
We know thats what the J-20/Su-57 are primarily designed for hunting and killing EAWACS aircraft and tankers.
In Bluewater Fleet, there’s almost no premium ships — especially not good ones. For some reason, they removed the solid Prinz Eugen from the German tree but left the underwhelming Nassau. Makes no sense.
And let me repeat: even with a premium account, the progression is still slow and boring.
Then CAPTOR-E on the German, Spanish, Kuwait and Qatar typhoons then. Rafale has HMD and 8x MICA from prototypes and the Su-30/34 has a mockup weapon that never existed. Captor-e for the typhoon would not be unreasonable given their refusal to add CAPTOR-M

Yes, with how missiles are progressing i think it’s been overdue for the EFT to get a radar that lets it act as sort of a mini-AWACS.

But perhaps, in any case, I don’t have issue with CAPTOR-M, but we don’t have it modeled at the moment, we have GOLDFISH-M at the moment and I’d rather they just replace it with a C&P of Blue Vixen or Foxhunter because both are better radars

Just give us P-Track already Gaijin, and apparently the F-16A MLU and AM should have some sort of P-Track that gives faster updates on the selected target(so 1 not 6 but still), so it’s 2 birds with 1 stone.

So is the AN/APG-71. It’s because these are the peak of Mechanical Radar design. However, saying AESA isn’t a necessity in today’s modern combat is crazy.
I don’t know the full extent of what is and isn’t classified on the Su-30 and Su-27, but I know that the FM in game, regardless of what has been published, is incorrect, and remains incorrect.
Just because your FM can’t be fully deciphered without classified docs doesn’t mean those with more public documentation are being represented properly as well.
iirc the 7th and 8th amraam cant be mounted irl due to landing gear restrictions
Not that I’ve ever seen and we have images of Marte-ER on those pylons which are far larger iirc (though would have to double check that)
