because otherwise people will start trying to claim stuff that they dont actually have a right to claim lol again Ajax and CV90
I don’t say BAE inc. every time I refer to BAE electronics in US aircraft
Gaijin has a weird stance on who gets what. It first goes by who operates the vehicle. If no TT or Sub-TT exists they will give it to nation of origin.
There are some pity bones like F-111C (given bc 111K was cancelled and there is only 1 foreign operator)
That is true. But that was more an exception. But certain other individuals won’t think that.
Looks at Swiss Hunter in Germany (the Swiss aren’t sub-trees)
IRIAF reference
It means the F-14 is the first and unfortunately probably only US rank 8 aircraft to not be put into another tree
That would fall into the same category as the F-111C. As stated by the CMs before.
is still kinda dumb the germans got the best hunter variant because they lacked CAS (they now have better CAS at a lower BR then the british lmao)
While looking at various LAV related stuff, found out that Japan’s Ministry of Defence chose GLDS-Canada to provide LAV-6.0 to replace Japan’s aging Type-96 back in 2019, although GDLS-Canada backed out of the deal in 2021, if the Japanese Brochure was enough for the F-16, then surely Japan can also get a Canadian LAV-6.0 if its implemented to the game lmao (Im not being serious about adding to Japan)
Never said I agree with it look at my position with the KF-41
Ok so? Make a suggestion to give Japan the LAV.
It was in regards to an earlier conversation, has nothing to do with you lol.
I know Smug and Ryder would’ve gotten a kick outta it, was also just a weird thing to come across
the thing with the KF41 is it was never intended for german markets and the sole operator of the tank is in the game as a sub tree, the swiss even years later still aren’t a sub tree of germany, and the hunter unlike the KF41 wasn’t something built specifically for the foreign market it was just a modification
Maybe I should make a suggestion to put it in the Japanese tree? 🤔
I know how they feel about Canada being put in multiple trees?
Canadian Lancaster’s in UK, CF-101 in USA, Leo 2A6M in Germany
There is no such nation of origin rule, and hasn’t for years (it’s more correct to say it’s more likely but not guaranteed)
Gaijin adds tech whatever Nation they feel needed if their is no home.
Take the Indian T-90 didn’t come with an Indian sub-tree (that can nearly a year later). Instead cane with an announcement that Gaijin would add vehicles from any Commonwealth nation if the UK could uses it. (Along with indicating the UK will have higher priority on where domestic vehicles have come with nations would be placed)
There’s plenty more examples of Nations getting vehicles they shouldn’t have in the first place, some come with a sub-tree announcement down the line but it’s not guaranteed.
I know what you mean. But the german military did look into iirc. They just deemed it not what they needed.
Isn’t there now?
