No you heard Gaijin war thunder isn’t ready for the F-2.

Although they might be right testing the radar on the kfir c.10 i think they have asea modeled wrong.

Yeah, AESA is basically just very fast M-scan with a few extra bells and whistles. But still blows any M-Scan except wierdly the Foxhunter, out of the water.

your selling it a bit short tbh

in game*

Asea should be able to maintain lock while scanning. If I remember correctly while it is scanning it should be able to hold a signal on an targeted located aircraft.
Here you can see it pretty much has multiple scan sectors and the speed is quite insane.

Yep, Though I doubt Gaijin will ever be able to model that correctly.

With how bad mechanical radars feel yeah I won’t hold my breath.

even gaijin wouldnt dare to screw over the F-35 like that. with how common and famous it is there is no way

I really dont understand what they did. Radars were fine up until about 6 months ago and then they just started feeling like buggy messes.

I never recalled having all that much of an issue with radars on things like the F3, FA2 or Gripen. But even with the lightning fast Foxhunter. in an ASB match tonight, it took more effort than it should to get targets to appear on the radar.

Looks at CAPTOR-M being the hailed as the pinacle of M-Scan radars and the best M-Scan radar in the world

Looks athe CAPTOR-M being the second weakest radar above about 12.0 and massively outperformed by a few 1980s radar like Foxhunter

Yeah and I have noticed it on almost all mechanical radars. Makes me not really play TT air anymore I always feel like I’m fighting my radar more than I am the target.

EFT is in 3 trees max. F-35 is going to be the most important jet in war thunder since almost everyone will depend on it

Yup. thankfully in ASB, I can take the time (sometimes) to fight my radar into submission and largely remain defensive, but its just not fun to have to spend so much time with “my head in the cockpit” rather than looking out and actually fighting the aircraft.

Despite the Typhoon and even the Tornado F3s relative performance these days. I just find myself having more fun mud moving again

Speaking of the F-35 I saw UK planning to purchase more with a possibility of purchasing 35A.

Perhaps, but I’d still doubt it will come anytime soon and I doubt it will be recognisable.

what is 34A? or do you just mean they might buy 34 of them

I’ve not been following it, but they need to if they want to max out the carrier capacity on both carriers.

Though with the current… US Situation… I can see them waiting until 2028 before doing anything.

I’m on my phone.

March 30th one of you MoD said the 35 was probably the best way forward. Till the tempest. Paraphrasing.
