Im sorry but i don’t think gaijin should add anything to the standard r74 if you cant actually find what it does.
For all we know it could also be a different seeker upgrade similar to fbw. There arent any documents that specifically mention the Li program being sold to sweden. Neither that sweden has acquired them in the 1980.
What if sweden did a domestic upgrade that works different and only then applied for Li when it became available in the very late 1980s.
The timelines dont match up. “Asked for” and museum reports from old websites arent particularly good sources, neither are they primary ones.
If we start something like this then i also have bug reports that the mig15 has 20mm cannons, that the panther had a 88mm tank gun and other things museums get wrong all the time.

there is a difference between that and having the missiles and documents on the missiles. I got my primary source from the museum
There will always be the strongest rafale variant in the tech tree, but yeah we need at least one/two rafale with pesa radar after honestly if it’s to put tranche 1 or i think there was a rafale with snecma / ge engine as premium i don’t mind.
And you cant share them here to prove that sweden had the li in 1985?

I just want a general overlook over the dates. Im just suprised that sweden had jam resistance before the li program apparently started. Unless theres a giant gap between acquirement and upgrade → introduction
I have read many opinions on this topic (premium France MBT) all valid, each of you will have your reasons.
Personally, France is one of the few nations I haven’t yet investigated. As a user of the German and Swedish 2A4 Premium, I can now be sure that I’ll never grind France. I won’t buy a third 2A4…

I was just thinking, I heard some rumors before the Hornets Sting update that Gaijin might be adding the Panzer VIII Löwe as a premium or an event tank. Maybe it will come this update. Thoughts?
Gaijin removes a bunch of very late German prototypes filled with inaccuracies, but would add the Lowe, a pure paper tank ? No way. Not happening.

I’ll never understand this way of thinking. The last thing I’d want to play when starting a new tree is both a vehicle I’ve already spaded God knows how many times, that also happens to play nothing like the rest of the tree.

I’m just praying we get CBUS and with the addition with the Falklands we HAVE to be getting the vulcan. And maybe the valiant and Vickers. A Vickers would make the most sense cause it did the refueling but not the bombing.
I agree with you. Knowing Gaijin, all I can think of is a lazy move to make a quick buck. I mean, these are the same guys who invented an F-16 for Japan with the same childish rationale and are now trying to add another 2A4 to the 10.7 routine.
I would have preferred an improvement to the Vextra reload and putting it in 10.3/10.7. Not all nations always had a premium MBT at the top level to grind their TT (until recently, Italy had the Centauro and Sweden the CV90105, and both sold well).
The lineup excuse is ridiculous; the Merkava 2D never had a lineup, and the 2PL squadron went years without one, and no one cared. You can put a Leclerc with OFL 120 G1 in 11.3 and then create a premium clone with some cool camouflage and that’s it.
At least give DM43 to the 2A4NL and the Swedish 2A4 and put them in 11.3… Germany has lost its identity, and France is even worse.

I get where you are coming from, that side of the argument is also really valid.
For me premiums are 90% just a means to an end. Before I start a tree I usually have a vehicle in said tree that I really want, like the Leclerc and future EBRC Jaguar for France for me.
So the premium I buy has only 1 purpose: get me to those vehicles as fast as possible. So if I know that the premium vehicle is really solid and if I know for sure I can do well in it that is the best for me.
It’s incredibly clear that premium MBTs sell better than premium LTs though, the only clear exception is the 2S38.
