Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

As far as I know, the engineers don’t always make new sounds strictly by recording tracks; rather, they craft some the sounds digitally based/inspired on videos they attempt to replicate, right?

They did an incredible job with Leclerc and Challenger, regarding newer sounds. I don’t know if they were made manually or via recordings, but they are really neat.

So I was hoping Type 10 would come next! What kind of post would I need to do to draw attention for that? Or maybe you could forward this post I made directly some time ago, if it were enough?

It contains two videos that provide some context reference which I believe may be of help.

Got it!

Generally Japanese MBT sounds have been handled by DMM, who contributed to many of the current modern tanks in game for them. But as above, suggestion reports with sufficient material are always welcome.

I see- so the bug reporting platform, then, even if it’s not strictly a bug itself?

Because as you can see with the TUSK report, there are particular types of reports that are handled as suggestions.

The Leclerc for example: Community Bug Reporting System

I don’t dispute that but Leopard 2A4 is a lot different than the MBTs you’ve mentioned…

So the Issues platform is not just for technical bugs themselves, but also suggestions not necessarily, strictly categorised as bugs. Got it, thanks!

Here’s Type 10’s then. May you forward it? I hope it gets addressed as quickly as M1A1 AIM’s camouflage or Leclerc’s sound! It appears that, while other topics may be too complex, camouflages and sounds are addressed rather quickly by comparison for being simpler matters.

I mean the Ariete Cartezza and M1 KVT are just the same as their TT counterparts but with some small visual differences, I don’t see how this upcoming 2A4NL premium is any different.

Added bonus is that it’s a 2A4 which is just really easy to get into for newer players, meaning it will very likely sell much better than any premium LT/IFV you could add.

On first quick view, the first video is a mere few seconds and the second video is very quiet. Neither are really the best or most resourceful. At its currently level, it wouldnt be a very useful thing to forward it like this. I would recommend checking the Leclerc report as an example of what lead to that outcome: Community Bug Reporting System

theres the source from the FMV you can see that states that the missiles were modified directly after delivery
it states

The other sources also state a IR resistance thingy ma bob is in the RB74
This is the only seeker upgrade to the missile so either theres no irccm which we know isnt true or this is it
There is a chance the seeker module was fine but the full production of the entire missile itself hadnt started or many other things
That and the 1987 date is not 100% as it likes to vary depending on the source but there is 100% a year or so between delivery and service and modified in between to counter interference of IR

Thank you for the advice! I just added three more videos. Would that be better?

The difference is that the Ariete and M1 KVT are counterparts of the domestic variants while the Leopard 2A4NL are not counterparts of a domestic variant (which would be the Leclerc) and instead a counterpart of a subtree addition. Someone who wants to play an American premium tank could buy the M1 KVT, someone who wants to play an Italian premium tank could buy the Ariete premium. Somenoe who wants to play a German designed premium tank now have an option between Germany and the future Leopard 2A4NL. But there still exists a gap in a domestic design premium which was available but Gaijin did not want to add as they were not sure of the armor protection which could change readily.

I did. All I can say is… THANK YOU!

I came across many Battleships, but they were kind enough to just face off with the other Battleships on my team instead of stomping on Cruisers like they tend to do, hahah.

Given the tease the CMs gave us mentioning newer and more powerful BBs, I want to leave the road paved towards a potential American fast BB, although I will most likely go for Bismarck/Tirpitz and Late WW2 Nagato first if they come, hahah.

Gameplay wise, American BBs will be underdogs given the nature of the ingame engagement ranges and mechanics, unless they find a way to model the superior FCSs by giving them a faster refresh rate and higher range accuracy or something.

Is there any updates regarding the AGM-65 report would be a nice buff if they fixed them. AGM-65 Maverick likely incorrect flight performance // Gaijin.net // Issues

You managed to make me like a comment with a “should of”, and that’s saying a lot xD

Basically, yes. Only Spain used it IIRC.

And Germany as well

Edit: nvm, mixed Li with JuLi

Germany didn’t use the AIM-9JuLi, they used the AIM-9Li.

I think this is far less of a concern for the average new players than it is for the nation mains. Most people’s concerns with buying premium vehicles is usually:

A) Is the vehicle good? (or at least is it not bad?)
B) Is the vehicle easy to get into/easy to use?
C) Can the vehicle quickly get me to where I want to go in the TT (which is usually top tier)?

Hi Smin,

Could you perhaps clarify the reason why the Dutch PZH2000NL wasnt added at the same time as the other PZH2000’s?
