Why would Gaijin say it’s a Kurt Tank design to promote an Indian aircraft for Great Britain?
Looking at it this way, perhaps it wouldn’t be necessary to clarify that it’s a Tank design, unless the aircraft is going to the German tree.
Because he was a big helper in getting the plane going and it wouldnt be much of a hint if they said the other things on it like first domestic developed fighter jet in asia/india lol.
I would say it is more likely the Marut from saying that specifically because they could say a German tree event plane for Germany and it would still have a couple of options lol.
edit: Also NovA has a Marut model right? Does he have 1 for the other 2? I didnt see any but could have missed it.

Also powered first flight of the Marut was in June 1961, so it would be in and around the right timeframe for a linked event ^^

But this is not a development blog, it is a sneak peek/preview.
They probably wanted to avoid confusion, as they always do. But even so, Marut is one of the top contenders here. If it weren’t for recent comments, I’d put all my chips on Marut.

Because locking the first domestic jet of a nation behind an event is just bad for me, even more so if only one could come.
It would also end up with the same issue, all the other sub-trees are facing, all the stuff that should be TT are used as “FOMO”, and C&P fills up the tree.
I believe theres effectively 3 models that gaijin can add to the game, 1 with non AB engines, 1 with AB engines, 1 with a different engine set going above mach speed?

I don’t think so, it has been said many times that Indian vehicles go to the UK.
The Marut was designed in Argentina, even completing wind tunnel testing. Germany should get this “very early” wooden miniature version lol

I think its the pulpui thats going to be the event. It is based on the ta 183 and german mains are really obsessed with wunderwaffe
Plus iirc Germany hasnt got an event vehicle in a while, it was IL-IT-FR-SW-UK-CN/IL/JP-IT-USSR-UK-US for like the past half year
Edit: we have came full circle beginning at the F-14A IRIAF event without Germany, so thats a bigger reason i guess

Willi Messerschmitt with his Helwan HA-300 (Which was completely German, although in the service of Spain/Egypt)
I hope they don’t jump. I’m expecting the next additions to be NoCal and Richelieu as good entry points to the interwar era, KGV I also expect but the UK doesn’t need it yet it just needs the existing ships to get buffed where appropriate and historical.
I’m not sure I understand your point. I know very well that it is a Tank design. I was referring to how Gaijin usually comments on his plans in advance, always trying to avoid a stir.
I’d expect Tosa personally. Perhaps might be better than Nagato though as Amagi already has nutty armour for no apparent reason. Tosa is the same but with 2" thicker belt. Nagato improved all the armour a lot but you get to a point where good armour is good armour it doesn’t matter how much better it is when one has an extra turret and the same guns.
Developers love to insert a historical block into the announcement of a vehicle. My comment is exactly about this
