Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Not really no. We’re probably going to get a few stronger-than-current ships, like the Richelieu which was on the looking ahead 2025 decal, the Nagato and Pr.69I set to appear in WTM a few days from now. That kind of thing seems likely for the immediate future.
But the end-of-end superships like Iowa, S. Soyuz and Yamato probably won’t be until the Nov/Dec period.

Nagato (1937) and Bismarck are my candidates

That depends if gaijin lets the Slamraam carry the radar trailer.

Norway would get the fully completed model the NASAM HML which is just slightly better due to a faster turret drive and new electronics and mounting rack.

gotta tell the BMVg to get one first

The Netherlands also ordered this, so could eventually come to France too (just to piss off the nation purist people lol)

Now show me this happening with a prototype vehicle? Because afaik this stuff had only happened with vehicles that were actually in service. Only example I can think of is the Ostwind II ost.

Stuff like the Clovis is different because it just gets split between 2 trees to prevent drama.

Given SPAA like this, i dont care if multiple nations use the same SPAA as long as they actually used it. We need nations with usable SPAA.

What will this change?
It is better to add tank in two versions (TT and premium) than adding another leopard 2a4

Are there still that many ?, I thought they’ve left awhile ago

They are always growing in number

The next major patch after new power saw Hyuga stealth added without a dev blog or appearing on the dev server which spent a long time as the sole super dreadnought in game against first generation dreadnoughts.
Bluewater naval throughout its life has been full of scale creep and leapfrogging things so I fully expect it to happen again.

It’s also why I’m assuming they are ignoring any sort of balance for early cruisers and destroyers and shoving all the first Gen BBs and BCs into 5.7/6.0.
They are getting them away from what’s coming.

@Smin1080p_WT Since the F-111 getting fuel dumping in the next update, could we see the He 111 or the Ju-88’s with it’d flame thrower modification ?

Not planned currently. This is a bit different, being an offensive weapon. Fuel dumping is a visual thing.

Bismark at december and thats a big if. I cannot see effort going into naval if they cannot fix other issues, compression, map design and gameplay etc.

They do talk about big ships getting added

Since we already have a prewar Nagato-Class, I really hope the next is a late WW2 refit Nagato; so that it feels like enough of an upgrade compared to Mutsu. Otherwise, it will be redundant.

I second this

A version for naval would be very nice (also, exocet on Super E could be good timing)

Its a SA vehicle so they forgot it existed

Shpuld we expect the new engine effects to only apply to newer jets or will all afterburning jets receive the new FX?

Yes, it would be great to see the battleship IJN Nagato of the 1944/45 modernization
