what happened?
OSA, clovis, and the AMD got added to multiple nations after the community begged to get a vehicle they used.
Basically this means nations could ask for any vehicle their country developed.
Chally 3 to Germany, Begleitpanzer to sweden, ect ect stuff thats probably gonna cause a riot when it starts to get out of hand.
Would love to see a push for more Dutch equipment in the sub tree.
Future potential trees or sub trees are always under consideration, but we dont have any news to report at this moment on those in particular no.
Any plans to fix the lack of any aircraft at 5.x sweden?
Additionally with the R2Y2’s leaving us should we expect the Ho Ri’s to eventually leave when Thai ground is added? (If you haven’t gotten them yet id grab them, Ho Ri is insanely fun)
A sub tree doesn’t necessarily mean a whole line is required. It just means those vehicles will be present in that particular nation. The vehicles can go anywhere inside of the existing 5 lines (if its a nation that has 5 lines).
CLOVIS was planned from the get go for both France and Germany. OSA was a longer term plan for the UK, with the Indian skin already made, just brought forward following feedback.
AMD 35 Pak was too reconsidered given the feedback we received on it and that it was after all, a German modification too.
None of these vehicles are however event vehicles. Which the Class 3P is.
i understood that but the question is, is it technically viable that we can see a dedicated subtree line in the futre?
Any chance other nations can still get the 2S1? Germany was skipped when it was added despite them using the vehicle
We are always working to gap fill where possible, however as you would know, we don’t announce specific plans outside of blogs and major news.
Given Britian has all 5 lines occupied currently, not for now no.
Tbf its been years and the problem has been actively avoided to say the least. Any info is appreciated when it hasn’t even been mentioned by the devs.
a small hopium for india subtree updoot
A fair enough differentiation, Bismarck will have to be suggested separately.
Now iam drolling over some aircraft i saw there
Wellington with 40mm Turret XD
A very possible WW II AC130 for Britain to add if it gets AP belts
Which, in practice, would still mean mostly F-35s flying about as most of the nations in WT are in NATO/US allies and buy US kit.
Turkey and Korea aren’t even in game yet, and Korea operates F-35s as well.
The only nations that would really have anything unique are the US, Russia, and China.
It’s an interesting definition.
But it could be misinterpreted if we consider some examples present in the game. You know.
Well, you have nothing for Rank VIII post-Vickers tanks that could fit more Indian tanks.
Gaijin could also add in the proper TTD with the proper 120mm cannon (6 turrets for 120mm exist and were planned to be put on the TTD, the 105mm was a presentation), as well as the 140mm tank destroyer version for the TTD (which is far more real than the Ho-Ri Production and the R2Y2).
Umkhonto GBADS can easily go into Rank VIII SPAA for South Africa, since it does exist. The missiles have been used for two decades now by multiple nations. It’s literally just a truck SPAA too.
Rank VIII British Air can use the Mirage III, which India and South Africa has used, and can be placed after the Lightning F.6.
Wow, I figured that out over a cup of tea.
throw in all the other 140mm gun versions of tanks along with that, like the Thumper M1 Abrams and the 140mm Leo 2a4.
Once again wondering why FnF Brimstones are too advanced for the game, but AGMs that go mach 2.2 is perfectly balanced.
Also wondering, why all nations got punished for IR AGMs when USSR was the main nation that was the issue with their KH38MTs
