Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

No, you didn’t read well.

I mean we have domestic options for absolutely every gap “closed by SubT”

I don’t mean, that we didn’t get enough domestic last 10 updates

Going back to this point I really hope the dev’s are now thinking of a rework to how subs are added, as slotting them in the main tree is chocking the main’s. Especially now with the BeNeLux now being classed as one sub.

It is significantly worse than Rafale and its radar doesnt work most of times. Gripen is not viable anymore especially since it have R-Darter and not AMRAAM. So Su-30MKI to get some sort of new flavor to the tree and Rafale to be competetive with french one. Cause as of now,Rafale have best radar and is the best A2G/A2A platform in entire game.

@Smin1080p_WT btw can you answer if it’s possible to see stuff of other ex-USSR states in SU TT or it’s only USSR and Russia?

Britain largely ditched the whole block thing after block 1 iirc. and even now, some of the airframes are being retired because they are block 1 airframes and cant be upgraded to handle the CAPTOR-E iirc.

I dont know if its the same for Italy and Germany, but for Britain, an FGR4 is an FGR4. Meaning we could have anything from CAPTOR-M, ASRAAM and Aim-120C5s (or whatever palceholder they want to give us) to CAPTOR-E, ASRAAM, METEOR and SPEAR-3s and it would be entirely and completely historically accurate.

Even now, Brimstones werent first fitted onto the airframe until the Brimstone 2 in 2017/2018 and I think the dual mounts for the Paveway IVs are quite a late modification too, as I dont think they had them going into Op Shader.

2013:

Typhoon possesses the ability to fly with up to six Paveway IV bombs, which have already proven their effectiveness during the RAF’s 2011 air campaign over Libya, and also in Afghanistan. - Source

Sub trees don’t negate domestic options coming too. See OSA/Strella > Rapier. Sub trees help not just with gap filling, but gameplay options, alternatives and allowing other nations to exist in game.

It’s not soley just about what they provide the home nation.

We already have some, like the Event Su-25.

But Bullanikov on stream says opposite, like SubT content considered as possibility to close gap

Major Update "Hornet Sting" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 4) - #2011 by Tim_TeaDrinker

That’s not the opposite at all. As I said said, gap filling is very much one of the key reasons for subs. But it’s not the only consideration.

We already said before and after this comment from BVV that a sub tree is not an automatic inclusion of every possible vehicle from that nation.

And also you a very long time ago says that Britain TT Can’t get Class 3p due to has no need of it.
But Class 3p isnt about balance or gap its just exactly the

Where is the truth?

Did BvvD really said that lmao

What? We have answered about the Class 3P countless times.

It’s an event vehicle in the German tree and there is no need of it in the British tree from a gap or gameplay point.

So right now there are no plans for it.

My translate

Not to be rude but how good is your Russian to English translation ?

What confused you?

No, no I was wondering as maybe not as good as for some people translating into English can be confusing.

I was very happy to get a frogfoot from that event

Mk 83 AIR ×9
Mk 83 1000 lb ×9
Mk 84 2000 lb ×4
Mk 82 Snakeye ×10
Mk 77 ×9
AGM-62 ER/DL ×2
Zuni Mk32 ×32
Hydra-70 M247 ×152

Seems like the F/A-18A has plenty of air to ground armaments.

Yeah, that’s what I said?

The Bundeswehr sometimes differentiates between the Tranches in press releases, but all of them share the Eurofighter designation (still wonder where the EF-2000 came from). So it’s the same for us as well, once the new T4s arrive a Eurofigther could have anything from AMRAAM/AIM-9/Captor-M to Meteor/IRIS-T/Taurus/Brimstone/Captor-E etc.
