I already said it too
See i know it cant be the 90’s because it was only in the early 2000’s that C models got the updated cockpit to have the HMD button on the console. Something that Gaijin who apparently always planned to be a mid 90’s F-18C got wrong as it has the mid 2000’s cockpit with the HMD dial because it was probably planned to be on par with the US before being changed. If accuracy was such a focus it wouldn’t have a cockpit it never used since MLU 1 has a unique cockpit from Patria.
@Smin1080p_WT considering our prior discussion why was the Finnish F-18 given the mid 2000’s US cockpit if the Fins only got the 1994 model? Also why do they have aim 9L despite not having it IRL? Any explanation for these historical inaccuracies would be appreciated so that it can be made actually historically accurate.
Finnish F-18 shouldn’t have a dial for turning HMD on and off if it was only added to US hornets in the 2000’s seems like the swedish air tree was again another last minute thought.
By the way, thanks for arguing. I was looking for stuff to see if there was any earlier hornet HMD testing and I found something that might be able to go on F-15A (Agile Eye HMD)
I just have to figure out if it was an F-15A and not a C, since the tests were in 1986
Yes other HMD’s have been tested by the US. The phantoms have quite a few dozen different HMD systems that were integrated.
Also sorry for the ping @Smin1080p_WT why does the Finnish Vampire have bombs? Bombs were removed from the Mig 21Bis because of the historical fact that Finland wasn’t allowed to have fighters with bombs from their treaty in the 40’s yet the Vampire has them? Logically speaking the Vampire should be removed from the game as it serves no purpose as the A28 exists and has historical rockets.
Additionally why do Finnish BF109’s have M50 on them? The Fins never opperated them with the M50 yet they have them in game?
If something is incorrect about the cockpit of the aircraft, please feel free to make a report. The F-18C is fully compatible with AIM-9L. So there is no issue there.
Turns out Agile Eye was on a C.
However the document does say something about 1553A compatibility. Will take this to F-15 thread
how can the sounds be still so f-cked up after 3 weeks since the patch, and at least 2 since first reports were filed, how long are we supposed to wait while the game is nigh unplayable since nothing is audible unless within 10 meter radius, usually too late to do anything
Compatible yes but considering bombs were removed from the Mig 21Bis because they had bombs but weren’t allowed to use them, it seems like a double standard to have 9L’s that they didn’t have nor use. The mig 21Bis shouldn’t have bombs they didn’t use and the 9L’s should be removed as they didn’t use them.
Feel free to make a report on any of these if you have information to show it. However ordinance is down to the devs discretion to choose so long as the aircraft was compatible and other versions of the aircraft are not planned (that spesifically did carry ground ordinace).
It was the devs who removed bombs from the Mig 21 for historical accuracy yet let the Vampire have them so it would have a place in the TT. Im just asking the purpose for the double standard.
Weaponry (such as missiles) is and always has been a balance decision.
So the Vampire can have weapons it couldn’t use for balance? Then why cant the Mig 21 have bombs for balance?
Just wanting to understand the strange double standards. It to me just seems like the entire subtree was a after thought filled with loopholes and double standards.
I was referring to the AIM-9Ls (missiles for balance). Not the Vampires bombs.
Once again, you can report the Vampire if you have information to suggest it should not have bombs.
My report would literally be the numerous treaties imposed on Finland which prohibit bombs like the moscow treaty.
Additionally why is a swedish J34 on the Finnish aviation line? I understand the A28 considering the snail foldered both vampires yet the J34 seems like gaijin added it there because the Finnish air tree was just too short.
J34 follows on from the A28 and Vampire best. J29F is already in the domestic Swedish jet fighter line at 9.0, so it fits better in this line.
The tranche 1 and Rafale F1 (french navy) standard
Limited Air-to-Air armaments but pre integrate helmet mounted display
Rafale F1 ~ F3 fitted PESA radar only
Rafale B to attack aircraft or bomber line ?
I’m not so sure
Rafale M after Mirage 4000, I think
Eh, idk its supposed to be a Finnish air line. It looks more like gaijin didn’t have a proper 9.x fighter for Finland and didn’t want the TT to seem more bare bones and placed it there but ill take your word for it being arranged like it currently is.
Second any progress on the Mark IV or should we expect to go another 6 months without any changes while it remains a fake tank with fictional armor values and without its ABM.
Lastly i have sent you and other mods this bug report for over 7 months and yet it has not been accepted. It is a bug report on the Finnish T-34’s both models. Which have the add on armor weight added to them despite not having the module. Its clearly a bug and should be fixed.

I mean there is a massive performance gap between MBTs of different nations though. I just wish Gaijin would actually do something about that.
This is always a weird one for me. The devs think its okay for a certain nation to carry AGMs that go mach 2.2 when no other nation has anything close to it in terms of speed.
but lets just say its a balance decision lmao.
