Gaijin trying their hardest to make a Gripen C which isnt just the A model challenge impossible
Since the discussion is off-topic, I will try to avoid fueling it further; but this is why I spiraled so hard into it.
I don’t understand some sections of the community sometimes.
If more of the early variants of a plane are added beforehand and progressively, they are deemed to be redundant, “speed bumps”, “nerfs”, “Gaijin hating X nation”, etc, under demands and claims that “better variants should have been introduced right away instead”…
But if Gaijin does indeed skip the earlier variants and goes right away for a more capable variant, if ever so slightly, suddenly now THAT is a problem too because “they are skipping potential additions they could have added to enrich the trees”…?
So what now? What do we want? Trees with 5 identical variants of each vehicle, or trees that progress through gameplay-relevant upgrades? In both cases, apparently everything is about criticising Gaijin… and I’m someone who does that quite a lot; it’s just that I can’t see a reason to do it in this instance.
Its even got the countermeasures the A should have, it is a more accurate A than the A

Doesn’t really matter tho, because they are getting close to the point where they have to add these “redundant” variants to pad out the updates.
Its been evident gaijin has no interest in a historical Gripen ever since it was added. Probably because they couldn’t care less about their airtree
Don’t forget that they also gave the Hungarian Gripen AGM 65Hs when neither the SAAF C or the Swedish A got them
Nothing 10.3 up matches its designation lol

They gave the SAAF Gripen AGM 65G on launch when the HUN gripen was added but then took 2 weeks adding them to the swedish model. Lets not say britain wasn’t treated the same.
Yeah, but why give the Hungarian one 65Hs when the other Gripens at the same BR don’t get access to them? Like, there’s no trade-off, one version is just a straight upgrade over another at the same BR
Heres your proof they weren’t there on launch because sweden air is always given last minute thoughts then actively ignored.

Fair, just wanted to add that Gaijin apparently had to one-up themselves by adding another Gripen C with yet another upgrade over the existing Gripens at the same BR
Sweden has never had the best Gripen for CAS, SAAF Gripen had AGM65B and sweden with AGM 65A and when the SAAF got AGM65G which has a thermal seeker and HE warhead sweden was added a AGM65A with an HE warhead because thats good enough.
Again gaijin has made it more than apparent they hate sweden air, consistently we have to fight for the vehicle to be viable and a lot of the time we dont get a good change the only recent time we alone got something was when they locked the Di behind a paywall and tried to say the JA37D shouldn’t get RB99’s despite being created with that as its main purpose.
Even the Finnish F-18 gets to be held back because adding the same vehicle with a new IFF and HMD would devalue the US model. Its a joke and gaijin just consistently telling us to wait until a future update to have a equivalent vehicle is mind numbing. Both Germany and sweden consistently get this treatment for air and its a joke.

If balance was a concern from the Devs then the CAS line for sweden wouldnt have consisted of the worst version of the maverick for about 2 years

Was it changed to a B, cause it was originally an A with a SAP warhead.
Generally no. Not every aircraft has a suitable alternative.

To my knowledge its aways been a B in game, its not historic to my knowledge but there was mentions of an upgraded seeker and maybe gaijin has more on it than I do
Regardless its a moot point since RB75T was only added when AGM 65G was added and only for the Gripen. How many months did it take for the AJ’s to get RB75T?
