that would depend on the missiles and it’s perfromance, with r73, r77s and r37m i could see it being top tier
It was “approved” in the April Fools list along with the BAE EAP, which has been hard denied in the past
So that’s pretty much confirming a “nope” for the Su-47 at this time

Im still surprised Soviets havent got a 12.0+ Premium yet. Given the US has 3.
I actually really want them to get one because 12.0-13.0 brackets in SB are dead except for pure F-18 vs F-18 lobbies which are boring as hell as no redfor plays that bracket because all their premiums are at 11.3/11.7
I mean, they have the Su-33, which basically is a dollarstore premium
But that doesnt come with economic advantages that premiums have, which is why people play them
On the other hand it can be obtained for free and it is a shortcut to high tier jets.
Also, people do play SQVs to have an easier time researching trees as well.

There is a reason why there is 20 matches at 11.3/11.7 usually and maybe 1 between 12.3.13.0
mig29UB would be epic, 12.7 6 R73 but no radar (pretty sure its still HMD too but have to get checked on that)

just a MiG29 with R73 (like the netz mod) would be a cheap blow and annoy alot of people. would much preffer the UB so at least the model is unique (and worse)
Maybe they’ll get a premium MiG-29 9.12/9.13 at some point, but if they get a premium Su-27 they still won’t have a premium in that range. The USSR tree only has the MiG-29 9.13 and Yak-141 in that BR range to begin with.
MiG21-93 (like the bison) would be another option. but thats just lazy since the bison exists
