Considering the Sub-Reddit has also been liking the event, the only ones who hate it are META characters it seems to be a success.
I wouldn’t call it the “best map,” but rather the map being made for the mode. So, it’s balanced around WW1, and its vehicles so outside of the mode, so it’s going to be bad.
If I see it with anything else, I’d rather Advance to the Rhine. (I hate the big open field maps, as all they are is spawn to spawn sniping, and I hate that gameplay, so I’ve grown to like CQB maps.)

Using the power of 2 braincells i have created the only logical map for warthunder.
A flat map with no cover, maybe 1km wide lol
Gaijin is pretty predictable in some of their workings. They wouldn’t do double the work of first adding a map without detailed interior only to swap it out with a different version later on.
The turret basket situation is a perfect example of this. They released that only for the Abrams and Leo 2 instead of holding on to it internally until more vehicles are ready.
Also the least buggy vehicles in a patch in years xD

Dunno about that lol, the traction of the Mark V and IV is horrendous, all of the vehicles have huge amounts of trouble crossing trenches and the zeppelin is just straight up phase-shifted
The only strat is to get into lines and fire at the enemy like it’s 1825

On one hand adding ai infantry as some sort of gameplay mechanic seems cool and opens up alot of possibilities
On the other hand i dont much like the idea of several maps becoming a possible grozny simulator depending on what kind of AI infantry they add…

Can the zeppelin be pilot sniped? I am tired of unloading the SPADs entire ammo load on a single zeppelin just to get it to burn
Yeah, though still plenty of bug reports have been submitted. At least we definetly don’t need to worry about classified leaks for them 🤣

I stand by what I said. Eurofighters phasing through the ground, missiles that cause CTD or worse… M44s that would phase through buildings… xD

They can though it was april 1st there for they can say “well they day is all about pranks they should have known” there is no legal action that can be taken against them
