You are aware number built doesn’t make a vehicle more famous(as there is plenty of vehicles that reached mass production that nobody’s ever heard of (unless your interested in that nation))
I hadn’t even heard of the Renault FT until I took a specialized course for military history. What I had heard of was the Mark family.

You talk a lot for a details, the turret was not the only thing the FT bring on the table, stop it now.
Anyway i’m really curious to see the stats of this event, it’s so much one sided it’s not comical at all.

I agreed it does seem very one sided, they should have added a later model of the st chamond with the increased armor and i do feel FTs would have been better over the Garford and would fill the light tank roll better

This was for both keeping the fighters and the zeppelin. It’s a genuine shame that these seem to be going to waste and limited to Aces of Thunder now.
Having played the planes in the event and playing reserve tier ARB afterwards I struggle to see why the SPAD and Fokker should stay.
Even the worst reserve/1.0 planes are way better than those WWI fighters. Each turn burns most of your energy, your top speed and climb rate is miserable and your guns are weak and have a very low rate of fire.
The H.P. 12 feels way better to fly and is at least somewhat useful in GRB.
If the British bomber can stay, why not the fighter?

I believe April Fools events often have two parts, so perhaps there’s a chance we’ll see a more modern infantry lineup revealed next week.
Would love a Battle of Verdun infantery mode.
The WWI mode has a very short runtime compared to the last few years, so yes, it is very likely that there will be another event

Well, they don’t operate that way. I would have loved to keep vehicles from Mad Thunder as reskins, but that’s just part of the April Fools events.
It’s already a miracle that we get to keep some of the vehicles, they could have just hosted the event without any vehicle rewards and the people asking for WWI vehicles would have been even more disappointed than they currently are.
There really is no point in keeping the Fokker, SPAD and zeppelin other than pleasing the couple of people that so desperately want to keep them and that simply isn’t worth the effort to maintain these two planes and to model the zeppelin properly. Not to mention how much of a burden players using these vehicles would be for their teams…
I didn’t find the planes all that bad to play.
Both have pros and cons. I found the Allied ones have better MGs. Well, the German planes flew better(then there is the Zeppelin…).
Oh, and of course, a plane built 10-20 years later would be better, it would be like comparing the current 1.0 to stuff built 20 years later and saying they have no place in the game then.
