Let us keep the aircraft from the Great War event (+Poll)

It’s pretty simple with the WW1 event we should be able to keep the aircraft as rewards the same as the tanks. The SPAD S.XII and the Fokker D.VII should be available to keep permanently like the tanks and the H.P.12 bomber.

Yes we will get to play them in Aces of Thunder but for the players that can’t play VR/don’t like VR they will be completely cut off from these aircraft. Keeping WW1 aircraft exclusive to Aces of Thunder to make it a main selling point of that game is a bad move, what happens if Aces of Thunder flops? Will a major part of history be stuck in an abandoned game? At least letting us keep the fighters from this event now keeps the door open for more WW1 aircraft to come at some point and can ultimately secure their future in the event of Aces of Thunder not selling well and being abandoned.

Also in the case of the Zeppelin LZ 62 we will likely never have the ability to pilot it in Aces of Thunder so similar to the H.P.12 which looks the be the reason why we are able to keep the bomber so by that reasoning we should also be able to keep the Zeppelin too.

Overall the decision to make the SPAD S.XIII, Fokker D.VII and the Zeppelin is disappointing to say the least and many players would like to see that decision changed.

I think even though I like the planes they are a bit to underpowered to be used in WT rn and aces of thunder is right around the corner but the zeppelin would be funny as hell though even if it would be too under powered

Aces is VR only. People on Xbox cannot play it from what I understand at all. And even if you have VR equipment - you might be VR sick and only use it to vibe with your favourite humans while living in different countries.

It being locked to VR makes it very inaccessible even to those who’d be super down to play it.

We could make them a special class of collector’s vehicle that can be test flown or used in custom matches but not spawned in progression games.

I’m confident some CCs who regularly run re-enactment events for sim players could cook something delicious with them.

These planes have higher quality cockpits than some premium props. That alone makes the ability to keep them as collector’s pieces warranted.
