That Strategic Bombing mode they apparently are working on probably is gonna arrive as a non-April Fools mode temporarily and maybe get added permanently afterwards.
Gotta keep in mind that the April Fools event isn’t the only one that can introduce temporary game modes and that Gaijin does occasionally test new content in special modes either on the main client or on the dev server.

Atomic Thunder was meant to be an April Fools event, but yes, the naval escort mode with subs came basically out of nowhere
Do any have napalm though? I know the B-29 should have it because operation meetinghouse, but none in-game afaik
Hard to say which ones could have carried incendiary bombs and/or napalm. Some nations had more reservations (not everyone is as happy to commit warcrimes as the US, Third Reich and Soviet Russia lol) when it comes to using that stuff and just kept them around, but ultimately decided against using it.
Though Lancasters definitely did carry out fire bombing raids a couple of times.
