I never said it was a sub nation if you’d read what I posted above, it’s in the same boat as Switzerland, not outright a sub tree but has a current/temporary home nation.

and this is what I was talking about, “Indian vehicles will be introduced to the British tree” isn’t quite full confirmation of subtree, it’s close but they never say subtree, and they don’t say “only” to the British tree.
Though in this case by comparing it to South Africa it is effectively the same thing, and obviously all the other subtrees we know are subtrees, it’s just that the word is scarcely used by Gaijin themselves, which I know from others adds to the confusion about it

Alls I know is that there’s Czech stuff in the Soviet tree and there’s no denying it. With or without any said conditions.
The issue is most confirmation of these things is buried in the mountain of replies Smin makes on the forum, so they can be quite a pain to find after the fact
There hasn’t been any official statements and they usually don’t until Gaijin themselves publishes something, even if someone does say something, going off of the past it isn’t 100% solid as plans tend to change a lot.
There is more Czech stuff in the USSR tree than Swiss in the German, but the Hunter gives a lot more credit to it being a German subtree candidate, as if it wasn’t that vehicle would likely be in the British tree, whereas the Czech stuff is either Soviet or Czech equipment, which overall gives less of a solid read on their plans
The M53/59 has no Soviet connection, you’ll find this vehicle in the Soviet SPAA line.
It has no direct connection to any independent nation.

Yeah, however as a Czech domestic vehicle, there isn’t another tree that would have made more sense if Czechia wasn’t going to be USSR subtree.
the Swiss Hunter being in the German tree is better proof as the vehicle has a strong connection to Britain, which means for it to be in Germany, there needs be a better reason than that, hence the assumption that Switzerland is a planned German subtree
A Czech vehicle for USSR just isn’t as good a proof as that.

Gaijin should make a post on definition of sub tree and sub nation. Also they should release a roadmap for possible sub trees.
