Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

A man can dream I suppose.

The gun is indigenous and had no assitance from Britain. Why they chose rifled when they do not use HESH is confusing

yeah, I mean British type rifled gun. They use one piece shell not separated like UK

I think without specific sources in the game, gaijin will simply copy the protection from l2a4

It seems like it’s exactly the same engine, but it’s been slightly degraded to extend its service life

this is the strangest part of the arjun
At the same time, its ammunition is a single shot, and not divided into a projectile-charge like the British

no, it’s a improved Leo1’s engine, with much worse reliability to Leo2’s, especially in such hot weather.

This tank is getting more and more scary for me.

With less power?

More power than old ones in Leo 1, it’s MB838’s latest version. meaning it’s pushed to the edge of it’s ability.

I didn’t realise it was a Leo 1 engine

Domestic indian air force light Multirole Fighter Aircraft Tejas Mk.1 to first line in great britain tech tree, my guess.

  • Tejas Mk.1 (early) : IOC standard but limited WVR Air-to-Air Missile only (R-73E), BR 12.7 but before Gripen C (SAAF)

  • Tejas Mk.1 : FOC standard and full BVR Air-to-Air Missile capable, between Gripen C (SAAF) & Typhoon FGR.4, BR 13.7 or 14.0

The Type 10 would like to have a word with you.

I mean, we are still talking about War Thunder, where Type 10 armor was decided by a guy that outright said “Japan can’t make tanks so it must have holes”. Most notably the gaps besides the hull composite for “track tensioning mechanism”, even though that is external on the real tank.

So anything is possible

Yes, however his point was that the Arjun Mk 2 being lighter means it has worse armour than the Mk 1, despite the fact that the Type 10 is lighter than the Type 90 with much better armour.

Indian trials: Arjun Mk1 superior FCS system, greater mobility in the desert, superior accuracy.
Arjun Mk1A has massive supply chain issues, with so much of it exported. Germany unable to meet the demands of the power plant (That’s what happens when you build a tank and put an old engine in it!)

India are upgrading T-90s with the T-90 Mk3 being accepted into service.

Arjun Mk1A (Mk2) first delivered in 2024, with more to follow.
The turret design looks bonkers makes the CR2 weak spot look small, it does have ERA on the front hull and turret.

I’m curious, what kind of debate would you like to see?

Because like… i can easily start a debate to why Botswana would have been a better sub-tt then Benelux.

What about Benin or Burkina Faso?

Nah, botswana used a lot of French designs, which they altered.

I meant Botswana, not Angola

It’s different, Arjun stays almost same, while Type 10 is a fully new tank, it do heve less armor, but by making the tank smaller and rearrange the armor for some key area, it gets better protection in protected area.
