I am really excited for the future of the chinese air tree. Already am loving my J-11A and the J-11B or even BG will be even nicer, with PL-12s. Just hoping Gaijin will give it the PL-8B (if necessary in a nerfed state in terms of IRCCM like the AAM-3) instead of just the PL-8 without IRCCM. Also the J-15 and later on the J-16 will be exciting. And then of course the J-20 in the far future

I do hope the F-14D comes this year. I feel like it would come as a premium or event vehicle though. Hopefully not. At least not as an event vehicle.
maybe not, there are so many Flankers though that it might get cramped in just one line, maybe:
JH-7A - SU-30MK(K)(2)(3) - J-16
J-11 - (J-11A) - J-11B - J-15 - SU-35 - J-15T
would that work better?

I think rather than the F-14D we will get the F/A-18A as the US higher tier squadron vehicle. It would pair nicely with the Su-33.
But I just hope it doesn’t come as a premium instead.

I think artificially nerfing missiles is something Gaijin is going to have to do, limiting IRCCM etc. Even just to give players new “shines”.
I want my ASRAAM already, it just looks better than most missile with all the million fins on the front
The SU-35 as the top of the chinese Flanker line feels a bit weird. The J-11BG or J-16 feels more fitting. No clue where the naval Flankers would be placed tho

Su-35 has only 2 choices: Taiwan line or premium
What is the J-11BG? and J-16 is a strike fighter primarily, like the F-15E
I want to see the IRIS-T on my Typhoon but sadly even with nerfed IRCCM, it being thrust vectoring will be a huge issue because of how Gaijin is struggling to model them

The “Taiwan” line also has the J-10s in it, so you don’t want to fill it up too much
J-11BG is an upgrade of the original J-11B. They upgraded the PD radar to AESA and the missiles to PL-10/15

The J-11BG is a upgraded J-11B with a AESA and newer weaponry (and probably some more changes that I dont know about) alongside its brother the J-11BHG (literally just a J-11BG used by PLNAF, so a land based naval J-11BG)

Ah ok so would that be better than the SU-35 or worse, assuming the J-15T is still the top of the list?
I think it should be temporary. If it stays on the Taiwan line, we may see riots and protests from Chinese players.
