yeah, idk about giving CF-18 to US, they line up almost exactly with our hornet’s tech progression, so would be totally redundant for us, but if it went to you it would give you guys the hornets you want, with added bonus of parity between the US and UK hornets
at least the australian legacy hornets have different missile armament (Python 4 tested, ASRAAM in service) so they would provide something different from the USN/Marine hornets we would get no matter what. i am fine with Australian super hornets going to UK if you guys actually like them
True but tbh that redundancy could give gaijin a reason to make it a premium, squad or those single events like the Iranian F-14.

they could have an F/A-18A or A+ (amraam capable) as a premium and aussie as event or squad vehicle to keep it acessible to any australian UK mains who want it
This is why it’s hard to guess as for me the Aussie ones make sense for Britain as they have so many variants. While both to the US won’t add much baring being a money machine for gaijin. As for you, you’ll have so many tech tree ones

there are many CF-18 upgrades that could come just ask @StormRyder13 , like i said if you want a super hornet (different jet) i support you guys getting australian ones, but for regular hornets from other country, id rather the US get australian ones
