Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Yeah… but, upcoming update the F-18 comes and the euro-fighter is delayed so most countries dont get an equivalant/something better.
Japan won’t be getting anything because the F-2 and its prototypes are long over due. They won’t change anything with the meta, probably just be cannonfaughter.
The rafale is also just a topic that gets discussed less and less. Sure hope it will come upcoming patch otherwise the early variants are DOA, since MICA’s are already ingame for a while.

Naval is just dying out at this moment because of the bad SL/RP multipliers and the VERY bad compression around the br’s, especially 4.0-5.7.
So, subs and aircraft carriers will be postponed until that is probably fixed.

So yeah… Upcoming year will be, lets say, interesting.

We have made literally 0 announcements about the upcoming update. So I would hold your horses.

That doesn’t mean that we can’t infer things based on what we do know already.

Nothing is known about the next update, as we haven’t even started blogs for it. So I’m not sure what you “know” :)

i wish i had one…

But i know you have made 0 announcements… but the leaks/datamines are usually correct anyway.
I do hope Gaijin has altered their perspective on ASEAN to China and add it to Japan…
I wouldn’t want you folks to get absolutely clapped by the community.

You are saying that. To someone who is typing in R&R.

Very true. You are entirely right. My mistake.

Patience?

By The Actual Way, you’ve said we would be seeing Hungarian vehicles for the air TT, yet after a year we haven’t seen ONE of them. Not even the Me-210…
Can you explain why it takes so long to add Hungarian planes?

Especially with BeNeLux only giving 1 domestically build vehicle, with the Fokker G.1a

A lack of priority due to the Italian air tree not making much money is what can be assumed.

Alpha Strike released in March of this year. Not last year.

As we mentioned at the time, the initial launch of the tree covered the higher tier aspect which filled the majority of capabilities gap / roles needed for Italy. Low tier will be expanded upon in the future. A lot of aircraft were all introduced at once in that update and since then, other aviation developments have been a priority. That’s not to say more Hungarian aircraft are not coming in the future.

None of those are Hungarian, though, just Hungarian used.

That is Gaijin their fault… They don’t make it interesting. I bet if they made it just as interesting as the main four nations, Italy could become one of the most played air TT’s.

I’ve seen lots and lots of beautiful suggestions, some almost 6 years old and still nothing.

Circular reasoning is not foreign to Gaijin.

My concern, just as with Hungarian ground, is that these actual Hungarian vehicles are being reserved as events, battlepasses and premiums.

Which would be ashame because these lower tier vehicles is what makes people start playing the TT.
That uniqueness is what incentivices people to play a nation. That’s why i’m not bothered playing Israël e.g.

If we look at Finnish air, it seems that Hungary may get the same treatment.

Yeah… Its basically Russia inside Italy.
Same goes for Finland. Reserving an unique Patria as an event vehicle and giving the TT the 20th leopard 2A4

Finnish ground isn’t as bad due to things like the ItPsv Leopard 2, BT-42, and T-55M being in the tech tree, however it’s not much better.

Do you guys think we will eventually see tree’s expand beyond 5 lines in width?

As of right now, no. In the distant future, however, maybe.
