In future we’ll get it, after we get the F.2, and we don’t know when either plane will be added. We don’t know if and when mmW seeker counters will be added, if more capable SAM systems will be added, if other possibilities for AGMs will be considered, we might even be completely blindsided by an addition or change we didn’t expect.
I was talking about using Brimstone in its current state because (perhaps unlike you) i can’t jump to the future and see how they work on the FGR.4.
Unlike u i actualy read what the topic is about before writting about it.
Becsuse tornados can just take pgms. They can completly ignore brimstones without issues
Then luque was right, even if the Typhoon does get them with their current guidance the better FM and speed of the Typhoon and the better motor of Brimstone 2 will make them more usable.
You’ll be able to reliably launch from further away with more initial speed, more easily deal with any enemy planes while it’s in the air so you don’t need to “evade lose lock bye bye” during the terminal lasing, and you’ll have more freedom in repositioning and popping up for terminal lasing as well as you can travel further while the missile is in the air and manoeuvre more aggressively.
Btw since all the leclercs are at the 8th rank now, there is no a premium vehicle that could grind them without a penalty. So maybe it means france will get a new premium tank really soon
They have multiple Tornadoes, so great for CAS, they have a Gripen, harrier+ and probably getting some Indian top tier migs incoming as well… so definitely not for top tier air.
They literally have everything at top tier air - good CAS, good multi-role and good fighters.
yeah not the only one there lol, the UK did use Spear and Storm Shadow but if we cant even get brimstones in a working state those 2 defiantly wont come sadly so looks like the EFTs will be locked to GBUs
