I cant see how Gaijin will model it. I just dont ever see them coming to game. It’s not like we can use a vehicle recognition database when everyone fights everyone. They would have to encode some IFF to every vehicle on every team for every game.
There should be no one exempt from being targeted by brimstones if they allow the CR2 - the worst MBT in the game - to spawn a fully loaded GR.4. Like, the other 31 players are demonstrations of incompetence.
its simple dont allow LOAL, give us mode 2 that requires a lase of the target for the brimstone to lock onto, it wouldn’t be hard, hell its already in the game with IR and TV guided weapons only difference is it can see through smoke… ohno like most tanks will be able to tell a missile from 15+ km away is coming to kill them
they already buffef 9m123, make it better than 9m127 in everywhere, except the vt fuse.
there is a reason to use it.
though the issue about the inner pylon with 9m39 is rejucted
People say they’re useless, and I’m sure in actual practice it can and would feel like that when there are opposition Pantsirs up.
But I do always think it’s important to remember in this current CAS arms race we are seeing vs Pantsir, that only 1/10 countries has Pantsir.
Current brimstones already outrange every other countries SPAA. Making them fire and forget, sure, makes it more viable against Pantsir. But it makes the state of affairs even more atrocious for all else.
Even as someone who will grind and play GR4, I cannot in good faith look a Chaparral, Tansam, Oto, Adats, Tor or Ito player in the eyes and tell them I need missiles even stronger than the ones that already have standoff against them.
Yes but you need to guide them continously and they take 2-5 business days to arrive.
My issue is Gaijin have added these stupid stand off missiles and bombs ruining ground battles.
Finally Brimstone is being added and it’s a wet lettuce
then they should remove the KH-38MT and AGM65-Gs simple if their actual concern was for balance they wouldnt allow any nation to strike safely from outside of the range of SPAA
When I play Chaparral, and I stare at the pixel on my monitor that is a Tornado, listening to the missile whine as it hopelessly fails to lock something 3-4x beyond its max lock distance…
Do you really think the slight inconvenience of the Nado player having to wait 30 seconds before deleting me with 0 means of counterplay, offers any consolation whatsoever ?
CAS airframes are now able to carry ARHM too, its all incredibly unbalanced.
Brimstone is a bloody good missile and for it to be so poorly implemented rightfully pssed off a lot of British and (German) enjoyers.
Typhoon will come and Brimstone and LGB/JDAMS will be the only CAS option Britain have.
Stormshadow/TAURUS and SPEAR are miles away
