Those which were expected to come with Rank VIII; MBTs that bring capability upgrades to their lineups and nations.
-M1A2 SEPv3: with M829A4 and improved armor all around, INCLUDING HULL.
-Challenger 3 (P): with its new turret, blowout panels, and improved hull armor.
-T-80BVM (2023): just a 3rd very-capable addition to the Russian tree.
-Leclerc XLR: with improved armor and SHARD shell.
Additionally, Gaijin should stop being afraid of implementing DM63 with its properties once and for all, for the vehicles that historically operate it.
But new additions aren’t everything I would look forward. I also look forward to relevant fixes to already ingame vehicles, such as:
-M1A2 SEPv2 should get M829A3 (didn’t the devs say that it wouldn’t make a difference anyway? Where is it, then? It’s its historical munition choice.) This tank also needs to have its ERA package be made optional. It’s been a year since this was acknowledged as an issue yet they have done nothing…
-All Abrams tanks should have their turret rings and fuel tank bulkheads fixed once and for all.
-SEP and SEPv2 should have their turret armor fixed at last.
-All Leclercs’ armor, specially UFPs.
-The entirety of all Merkava Mk.4s’ armor’s existence (or shall I say non-existence).
-Leclerc’s underperforming acceleration.
-Type 10’s underperforming acceleration.
-Type 10’s BROKEN STEERING which has been broken for YEARS for some reason.
-All Chinese Top Tier tanks missing their spall liners.
And a very long etc… as a modern machinery enthusiast, the way Gaijin has neglected MBTs this year makes me puke… and let’s not even get started on Top Tier SAM systems. Everyone should have got a Pantsir equivalent the day it came to the game yet we still have nations with no SAMs at all, such as Israel, which have perfectly suitable vehicles and yet here we are.

Considering the fact that the main upgrade of the S.XXI over the S.2 is improved armour and that the armour is effectively identical in game, you shouldn’t expect that.
That’s my whole point- how tired I am that Gaijin has always been so afraid to make tanks perform like they should (unless its 122s, 2A7s or Russian tanks).
See I also want to see new tanks but the game modes need to change. It’s stale and boring playing an Ardennes map with new MBTs that have gen 3 thermals and rounds that can penetrate 800mm at 5km away. And playing them like its an FPS.
Adding these vehicles and making these changes would certainly improve QOL but wouldnt change the overall mess that is top tier ground battles.

Again I can only go on publicly available sources I will say this the source I looked at was 2 years old.
17km range SAM would be a boon to China but doesnt fix the inequality NATO have with SHORAD in game.
Look at the sensor view for Pantsir and TOR it’s basically an AESA radar with no scan pattern but constant updates.
The structural issues were fixed in the production airframes iirc, though the outer underwing BVRAAMs weren’t used anyways.
My best guess is there was no necessity, or maybe the structural issues even after the revision were still a concern that in the long term wasn’t worth the additional BVRAAMs.
I personally just hope for the 6 ASMs, since those might be very capable in a CAS role.

2a7’s probably should be removed from that, cause they are still far from performing like they should, like the armor, or acceleration
Well, I am aware that the 2A7s’ armor being worse than the 122s’ is bullcrap, but, in practical terms/gameplay wise, it’s as effective anyway, hahah. No shell ingame can penetrate more than 670mm anyway, except for that Object thing.
Still should be fixed though, just because it’s absurd that the 2022 tank has worse armor than the early 2000s one.

Which they failed to acknowledge for over a year.
Submarines, and more modern ships, looking at the cold war Missile platforms (that’s all i want for the next patch)
