WT isn’t a simulator first. It’s a game first. I’m obviously against unrealistic, crazy paper vehicles like the P.1000 ratte.
But why not give a mockup vehicle a chance it never had irl?

That is a mock-up. Not an incomplete prototype that had at least one part work(no matter how short that time was).

Let me ask something; since F-18 is likely coming this December, how would F/A-18A compare to F-15E, in a nutshell? And F/A-18C?
I have all of AV-8B+ and F-15C’s modification bonuses ready to be spent; but I wonder if I should save them for F-18 or if I should just go for F-15E, for which I have to grind for half its line as well…
The prototype O-I, while driving under its own power to the training ground, got buried in the mud. Then he fought to get out of that mud until the end of the day. This fight resulted in the failure of the suspension linkages on one side of the vehicle, which was a fatal blow to the I-O tank program. So you can’t say it didn’t work. The suspensions of the Tiger I/II, Elefant and Jagdtiger tanks were also constantly breaking down, so this is not a good argument…

Pretty sure the F-15E wipes the floor with the F/A-18C
From what I understand the only thing that superscedes an F-15E is the EFT with upgraded engines?
F-18A/C seem a bit like sidegrades and more closely related to the F-16C.
both would be worse then the F15E as the E we have is a later version with far stronger engines
the issue with the F15E is it has kinda immediately made stuff like the F18A DOA at least compared to the F15E
Honestly, a game with paper vehicles/mockup vehicles with the level of detail of WT models would be fun.

18A is limited to sparrows, and honestly should have been in the game ages ago. It’s already obsolete as far as top tier is concerned.
18C has AMRAAM’s so will be viable. I still think F-15E is better ASF though.

I guess they could try to make F-18 better by giving it AIM-9X; but then F-15E should get it too.
