Again, I would not call ADV a fighter. It’s an interceptor. Two very different roles and use cases.
Even at the time, no one was under any illusions about its capabilities. This thing was meant to go up and challenge Tu-95’s approaching from the North Sea. Not contest air superiority against MiG-29’s and the likes over Germany. That was the Americans job lol.
It is very much Tornado being inadequate / not intended for the fighter role, which lead to the Typhoon.
It’s even worse since the FGR.2 and FG.1 are effectively identical.

I made the second version while the update was still in its “leak-list phase”.
So there wasn’t much info known about it.
The point of the meme(s) still apply though.
if they add mid 2000s 4.5 gen its only reasonable for F-15’s to get their mid 2000s radar upgrades and missiles
Meme could be applied to other nations aswell amusing enough.

the US gets that many aircraft because it has all that and much much more to offer across basically every rank and BR, the ratio of possible, reasonable US additions (not counting every last block of F-16) to what we get is about the same as everyone else
What every nation really needs this update which I haven’t seen enough of in the leak list is more SPAA.

No matter how much AA Gaijin adds… AA will always be bad
Because as it stands the jets
- know where you are
- are more agile
- can actually fight back against your attacks
- and can dictate the engagement
unfortunately this doesn’t change that much with better AA platforms-
The best counter to Air will unfortunately always be your own Air
Like look at the Pantsir for example. By and far the BEST AA in the game and it’s not close… That thing gets clowned by good pilots.

ehhhh it’s a thin line that’s the issue.
SPAA should be inferior to jets (before anyone cries about that statement yes my jet that cost 6x what your SPAA cost should be better than your SPAA)
But SPAA shouldn’t be 100% helpless which a lot of Top Tier AA are completely helpless

a reward for intercepting airstrikes should be implemented, that way there is still a good incentive to play an SPAA with the occasional aircraft kill rewarding much more, keeping both relevant

No band-aid was ripped off. I have been saying SPAA is no match for CAP issue that remains is how easy it is to use CAS when the Pantsir is on your team compared to against.
I dont think the merkavas were well protected, they were outdated and has reached maximum upgrade effectiveness by the 2000s. But this kind of protection is really silly, OHKd by 3BM22, granted mk1s were destroyed by Syrian T-72s who likely has worse ammo but i was playing the mk.3b.
Just dont say anything about the weight lol they clearly never heard of ariete syndrome.
