Well thats is your personal opinion just like mine, so dont use ‘we’, again in my original comment was a ‘bet’, as we were actually deinied from the IIR missiles for the time being and things like phyton 4, r73m, pl8b or the upgraded seeker of the aam3 and magic 2 wouldnt fall in that category, neither would a new aim 9m with a better seeker
Even if Japan has to wait until March for F-2, there’s plenty worse things they could have to tide em over than F15JM.
At least they’re not like, a full generation behind anyone else like other countries have had to endure for prolonged periods in recent memory.

You’re not wrong, but I think there’s a difference between not adding something because there’s no worthwhile option and not adding something even if there was a valid option available.
For example, it’s not like French air is suffering either and yet they’re getting the Rafale.

Idk, I just think as far as priorities go (in terms of who needs what the most), Japan needing F-2 really ain’t high on that list. F-15JM is certainly better than anything the countries who will get EF have rn.
That’s not to say I don’t think you should get it or anything, I’ll be happy for you if you do. It just won’t be that much of a biggie if it doesn’t come.
Gaijin had plenty of time to rethink that, so this should be reverted by now. If not I’m also perfectly fine with waiting a couple more updates to give them the time to fix the subtree again.

Hope so as it would be such a banger update if they did do that, though the only source we have being a part of this tree is currently Thailand at present
