Are you guys aware of anymore noteworthy Hungarian tanks that could be added in future updates ?
2A7 / KF look fun, but there’s not a whole lot of depth there to make a HU lineup.

It’ll probably be later since they have some “reorganizing” to do first. An even then it’ll probably start with ground isince that is what was leaked.
ASEAN do offer some familiar airframes, however most of these with unique modifications to boot.

I mean, look what they did with Hungary. Only added as an excuse to give Italy the Gripen. In fact, I doubt we’ll even see a sub tree, just a vehicle here and there in the TT plus premiums/event vehicles.

Germany can’t get a sub tree, since there’s already five lines, so that’s a given.
eh the MLU and any of the F-16C are unneeded, japan will get F-2 soon hopefully, same with the F-15s.
id really rather limit the copy pasting of US jets with slight modification which is also why im not a fan of the F-18. japan does have decent options for their air tree without any subtrees for top tier, though for filling in some mid tier gaps your suggestion does work well.
so far the only US fighter that isnt in multiple nations is the F-14. and afaik no nation other than the US has the big 3 (f-15, f-16, and in future f18) in one spot, and id like to keep it that way so there is at least a point to the US air tree
That’s true, but I don’t see why you have to restrict a tree to 5 lines anyway, in general. If we really wanted as many vehicles as possible, a 6th line for some trees would be necessary.
If it restricts a tree from growing, why limit ourselves?
I agree, Gaijin should be open to expanding them. The official reason for them not is that it would be disorienting for the average player, which, as I’m sure I don’t need to say, is nonsense.
Frankly, I would have preferred a full Romanian Sub TT instead. That said, as much as I detest the addition of Hungary to Italy, they did add a lot more than just the Grippen. As lackluster as the additions were, they did at least add a few native ground vehicles.
Hungarian ground, while far from even good, is one of the better sub trees. It’s air that’s the main problem.
Yeah, the air additions were just bad. There didn’t need to be that much C&P, and we didn’t even get any of the cool Hungarian planes like the Me-210Ca or the Heja I, II, and the II Zuhanóbombázó.

Sure, however they are very few and far between.
This leaves three whole lines unused, CAS capabilities limited to at most LGBs when reaching the F-35 and maybe AGM-65 on a maritime patrol aircraft. Rank 6 is also basically doomed to stay a lonely place for the F-4EJ without a subtree.
The basic F-16C is not suggested in favor of the more interesting late iteration of Singapore’s F-16D+, being a two seat Block 52 variant with EW equipment akin to the F-16I, advanced CAS and SEAD options and APG-83 SABR. While it certainly has US equivalents (naturally, it’s hard to find anything that doesn’t), it’s still a unique variant to Singapore.
The included F-16A (e)MLU is also a unique Thai moderinization of the airframe, in a similar situation as the F-16D+.
There is quite a lot, and there will be even more in the future. Then there is also the many unique US variants to consider, not just airframes alone.
The US certainly is a tree that is consistently at the top, and will remain so looking towards the future.
For example when the game reaches 5th generation aircraft the US will be able to provide 4 distinct aircraft (F-22, F-35A/B/C) from in-service fighters alone, not counting their experimental designs. Of those 4, half have never been exported, and the remaining 2 might not have the same Block/weapons with every operating nation.
The US will never be a nation that lags behind, in fact a subtree for the US is also leaked to be under consideration by Gaijin (South Korea) which would ensure that even with subtrees such as the ASEAN founders subtree for Japan, the US tree will keep its place at the top.
