My understanding is that there is no real selecting either or and they both run at the same time. However in the game it’s one or the other due to either game limitation, balancing, or both.

IRL uses both combined. Can switch mid course for best tracking in game they obviously made so you can only choose one.

I wouldn’t necessarily put to much stock in it, considering it missed both pre-orders, contains a premium T-80UE, even though gromvoiny denied a new top USSR premium on the RU forum, and contains an Su-24SM, which doesn’t exist.
