IRL yes, “wait for dev stream” moment I suppose as no info in the blog yet.
If it was going to be made to just be a proxy mav i am sure it would have been said. Heres hoping for a lovely counter to the Pantsir! xD

Hungary used R-73s so I doubt it
I think it’s going to be a G equivalent
Wiki says they are a part of debt compensation from Russia, which are 9.12A and UB, and not an export variant. The 9.12A in warthunder only features R-27R/ER/T/ET and R-60M, and this is most likely how it goes. They should be of course, R-73 capable.
For sure worth a trip.
Would be nice if they gave it R73s
I can imagine that being the outcome, MiG-29 9.12A(Fulcrum-A) but armed with R-73s at 12.7, avoiding controversies of adding the JAS39CHU right now when the Swedish had theirs delayed.
It’s TV guided, has a datalink pod so can be manually guided. It has been confirmed that it can target tanks as well:
Called it xD
I would be ok with that.
Yeah I honestly don’t know which outcome would be better
R-73 MiG but no Gripen or R-60M MiG with Gripen
In Gaijin fashion of course we will probably get a MiG with R-60Ms and no Gripen))
Don’t give them any ideas please.
Just add a Gripen with R60M’s so atleast everyone is upset.
omfg please no
At that point just give it regular r60s, rear aspect only lmao
Id be very up for some 4xR-73 and 2xMagic IIs on a gripen
I hope we get another dev blog today - im at the raf museum costford
smin said most likely not
Lol, no it needs all aspect…just give R-3R
kill me, make it 9.3
Now we’re talking. And Schragemusic.
