And ofc stealth affects a missiles radar, and to what use if you won’t even be able to even acknowledge the existence of a jet near you (Im speaking in real stealth terms → F22) and maybe if a missile would be close enough to such a jet it might actually see it, but its irrelevant cuz you wont be able to fire it anyway cuz you simply dont know where the jet is in the first place. Considering hundreds of kms between the said missile and the stealth jet, it won’t be able to keep track even if your jet actually found the other jet.
Well, they did work quite well when it comes to radar modes, and a few months ago they appeared to have started working on a rework of the IR systems, with different IR bands if I remember correctly, but since then, not much work has been done
Allegedly multi-spectral flares that exists for modern aircrafts works to reproduce heat that is in line with the thermal signature of the aircraft, rather than just being really hot. Perhaps because modern seekers are able to differentiate differences in heat signature.
Part of why Magics 2 use currently the same IRCCM as the R73 but should be better: IRL they have a CO2 detector to help differentiate flares / jet engine
I think actually these are the things that will receive a devblog, so there are 19 in total and 4 already been announced, first devblog was on last thursday so its been already 4 days with 4 vehicles, 1 vehicle a day (as in math). If they would go for two weeks of devblogs then I think we will have to have a day with 3 devblogs and one with just 2 devblogs. But there have to be some new jets, so from now on we could very well expect actually 4 days with 2 devblogs each day.
