Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

going to what nation exactly

I suppose we’ll just be getting 478Б.

I hope for 478Д.

Most likely not coming to any nation at this point

good

France & Germany never operated M-346 Master but Israel bought M-346 AJT version

A-10C better Su-25SM3 because equipped 3rd generation targeting pod, large varieties guided ground ordinance and ground attack role except performance

A-10C equipped IR SRAAM AIM-9M/AIM-9M-9, 3rd generation targeting pod (Litening AT or Sniper XR) JDAM (GBU-31 & GBU-38), Paveway II LGB, Paveway III LGB, AGM-65G-2 & AGM-65K Maverick and APKWS II guided rocket

MB-339CD, MB339B (I-GROW) and MB-339C (I-AMDA) Air-to-Ground ordinance better Alpha Jet

It being in Mobile does not discount it 's possibility of coming here, on the contrary we’ve seen on several occasions now that the development of new vehicles and systems is being shared between both games.

And we’re not operating on the strength of Exocet alone, the PS-371A is the radar used by the SH 37 Viggen - specifically intended for use against naval targets, much like the MFG Tornadoes

He probably was referring to the Alpha Jet when he mentioned France and Germany

I don’t think that front missile is real

As another person said a couple minutes ago, that image is photoshopped

regular c.10

block 60 indeed

Clearly desparately needed by US right now.

I replied to the different comment

I’d assume, since KhTZ did continue producing T-80 variants after the collapse, that they in fact prepared the entire T-80UD on location, at least at some point. I’m sure the first UD’s made were with hulls and turrets provided, as the original project was to see if they could install a lower-cost engine so they could scrap/replace the GTD’s which hadn’t reached their potential yet and looked like a very expensive problem.

I wouldn’t say widely, but it had an established production line at the time of the collapse. It certainly served in both the Soviet and Russian militaries, as you can see it on the streets of Moscow in 1991 and 1993. In this case, the T-80UD is really like a tougher T-64BV, practically the same engine and transmission. It’s going to be slow on the reverse, and for what? 3BM46? Just give me a regular T-80U at that point. T-80UD has got to be a premium or a squadron vehicle. Maybe it won’t be a pack/preorder, but it could be a tank for GE, like the Chally 2 OES was.

I’m curious. If it would be a pre-1990 model, would they add it with thermals? Or without to have it at 11.0?

I can see a pre-1990 model with questionable thermals be somewhat of a touchy subject after the entire Abrams and 2A7V situation.

I’m just trying to confirm the list. I would say we can’t confirm any vehicles yet.

I’d gladly take a Khod pod for the 25T/39 and a fictional SAPSAN pod, or a Damocles for the SMT in exchange. Otherwise, this is the first Soviet/Ru CAS with an actual thermal imager. Necessary. Gaijin has no one but themselves to blame on this one.

Also, I love the Alpha jet, especially in West German camo, but where the heck is it going to go BR wise, and why is it needed vs. what’s already there fore UK/Ger/France at the same BR?

EDIT:

How does Israel need it? A-4E and Ayit are more than sufficient, probably better than MB-346.

Uk didn’t use it so i have no clue what Br it would be

We dont have anything to announce in this area at the moment. The missiles are currently sufficient for the current moment in time.

If BR compression wasnt as bad as it currently is the Alpha Jet would be a solid 10.0

I think two more additions is needed. A proper thermal CAS for Russia and a SPIKE using heli for Israel, and then sure, a break from CAS can be done. Otherwise I agree with you and think that we need far more SAM additions for now than CAS.
