launch it from the dev install folder. fixed it for me

I also fear that someone will respond to the report, stating that “This is a suggestion, not a bug” and then close out the bug report. 5 more minutes of research on Gaijins end could have given the M55 proxy, instead we will probably have to wait a couple weeks. Crazy to think that players even have to make reports on vehicles missing equipment, that is so insanely STUPID to me.

Reinstalling the launcher did the job, hahah. Some corrupted file or something. Maybe Config.

gaijin’ed

its common in warthunder for large caliber missiles to have lower drag values than smaller missiles. the phoenix for example holds one of the lowest drag stats in the game for an air to air missile at 1.005, while the much smaller mica for example has 1.65

It wasn’t that much of an issue, as I already had to look up that document, and get excerpts for the 155mm M107 HE shell, and the proximity fuse (M728) it can be fitted with, and I was reading along and noticed that it mentioned being suitable for use in 8" shells( of which the 203mm M55 can use), so went a little further than I would have normally for a separate report.

As I was using the fact that the M107(PF) is granted a proximity fuse, as evidence to support its addition to the JAGM-MR, (as well as the AGM-114R-2 that it borrows the IBFS warhead from ) has a Height Of Burst functionality as detailed in the following report;

Also it only took 15 ~ 20 minutes to be “Accepted” so I knocked out a few others in the three hours I had put aside for reporting.

So far, I have as well as the M106(PF) report

Yes I have that exact document you used for the M106. I’m saving it for when we get M110, so I can push for the addition of M650 HERA.

M650 is smalltime, at that point just ask for the M422(W33 “special” warhead), or XM753 (W79) Rocket assisted variant.

tbf, the MICA is a bad example because iirc, its range is (was ?) artificially gimped by Gaijin for balancing

More just wobble problems with thrust vectoring that reduces any range

I didn’t want to push my luck, I think even just getting the M650 will be a challenge. Any sort of rocket assisted 8 inch HE rounds will be over pressure monsters.

all T series tanks are like this except the post mid 2010s tanks

i dont mind the slow reaction speed when im playing 10.3 ussr but any BR above that it starts to become an issue for me, main reason i dont play tanks like the T-90A or any of T series in between 10.7-11.7 you just cant react as fast as nato tanks in that br range which has cost me so many times

Which are apparently fixed in the dev server, from my limited amount of testing

They could also serve as a nice potential replacement to the existing artillery call in, at higher tiers which would be nice to see if it would prove to be too unwieldy to be player controlled.

Oh, also, those are nuclear rounds. I’m not sure if you have seen the suggestion for the Jeep with the Davy Crockett, but there was some pushback at the idea of nuclear weapons in the game.

Well, We’ve already got Aircraft based special weapons (F-111 with massed AGM-69s can’t turn up soon enough) as a call in for excessive SP in some modes, why limit it to one mode of delivery?

The particular mode of delivery could also be customizable, and yet another thing to sell players.

As long as each tech tree has equal access I’d be ok with it.

See the thing is, the only SPH that fired the M650 HERA was the M110, which would be easy to balance because of its reload, that fact that it literally has 0 armor, and that it only carries 2 rounds. On an M110 suggestion for China, I was saying that they should incorporate these multi vehicle systems into SPH’s as well.

I see this being slightly problematic.

Maybe slightly, It could just as easily be extended to other CBRN options as well, it is after all basically just a Post match animation that plays.
