To be fair we had this exact problem with things like koln/lubeck since forever (2019 or so). 6 years later and here we are still. RIP frigates I guess. As if anyone from higherups cares at this point.

C&P version of Challenger 3 TD with extra 50cal on 12.0BR and fight against M1A2 SEP V3 with M829A3?
The visibly 100mm thick extra plate on the UFP will be modelled as 5mm hollow structural steel, I can guarantee that
If we make a few assumptions about a full production Challenger 3 for the TT. It might not be too bad.
Actual armour (even just a guesstimate) + spall lines + Blowout panels would have some survivability over the CR3TD (though of course will be modeled to be as weak as possible)
We shall assume no DM83 and it will likely have DM53 or DM63 as a placeholder. But if it came with a 5 second reload, combined with the fact the CR3TD has a sensibly sized ready rack. It shouldnt be too bad on fire power.
Would overall make a decent upgrade over the CR2BN or CR2E even if its still not truly competitive with a 2A7.
Far more likely we’ll get something like the Challenger 2 Streetfighter 2 that is just a base Challenger 2 with a dozer blade and nothing else. Also not a single Challenger 2 bug fix either. So its a full CR2 to grind just for the skin + Dozer blade (even though they can all get the dozer blade)

A dozer blade equipped Challenger 2 would be very fun and might actually be half decent. But What is needed is to simply give most/all existing CR2s that modification, not lock it behind another CR2.
But its the kind of thing Gaijin like doing to Britain at the moment. Rather than addressing the actual problems. They either throw a Soviet C&P at our tree or just throw a C&P of an existing vehicle.

I dont know much about the F-18. Britain is my main area of expertise.
A would be SARH
C would be ARH and a better engine
E would have AESA and another better engine

True, but there are a good few that at least get accurate/autoloaded guns in recompense (which for some reason sit at or around the same BR (Chikugo, Akebono, Asheville, etc).
Id still argue that Britain has more than “spice” if they just modeled it. Stuff like the Challenger 1 Falcon for example. Would make an extremely interesting addition to the TT

Yeah, there are a few. But as a general rule of thumb. Most frigates are weaker than reserve destroyers. Which is insane.

The thing is, in this current time, the only quality that the British tree can offer is a tree that is almost copypaste free, and offers a playstyle that is unique to the British tree and no one elses. What playstyle? Lets not ask about it.
The only way Indian designs will make the tree better is by bringing absurdly powerful vehicles that mitigated its loss in authenticity. India is in fact assembling its own pantsir system and you know the rafale M. So that is possible but I would still say no to that.

Yeah. Separation of coastal and naval gamemodes is needed, plus massive decompression. That way both modes might actually have a playerbase…
Yeah, they need to either commit to them being a single gamemode, or 2 seperate ones. This half and half just isnt working
