seems to be missing AN/APG-82v1, AN/APG-80, and AN/APG-63v2 and v3

not exactly a reliable source

already said it was wiki from the start

It’s more that Wikipedia is not a hugely reliable source, especially for things like this, and that clearly isn’t an exhaustive list

I was asking that because I was wondering whether LPI is modelled in game or not.

I don’t think it is

it would be pretty broken if it was. in a downtier, many aircraft probably wouldnt even know if a rafale was watching them.

then look at the AESA event kfir at 13.0. even an F-14A IRIAF wouldnt know if it was being locked onto probably

And it would be very powerful in sim as well.

they should leave out LPI until it gets to 4th and 4.5 gen jets upgraded with AESA radar and better defensive suites (F-15E w/ APG-82, EPAWSS as an example) that are capable of detecting AESA effectively

I suppose next aircraft pre-order pack rank 8 for USA might F/A-18C (config 1992 ~ 2000 era).

At present, USA tech tree no fighter aircraft premium with active radar homing medium-range Air-to-Air Missile in rank 8

F/A-18A (late production) from desert storm era might premium (pack or GE) 12.7 ~ 13.0 BR

F/A-18A early production (pre Operation El Dorado Canyon ~ Desert Storm) with AIM-9L & AIM-7F

F/A-18D Early (desert storm era) battle rating same F/A-18A late

Could be new rank, but battle rating 15.0 minimum

After EF-2000 and F-2000A (Tranche 2 Block 10).

battle rating 14.7 minimum, my guess

Rafale F4.2, maybe

Might be J-10B (early)

Everyone here is talking about the Super Hornet’s AESA radar, but they’re not talking about how the Super Hornet (Block III) had reduced RCS due to incorporated stealth features.

didnt super hornets have reduced RCS from the start? maybe increased with block 3

@SPANISH_AVENGER on this particular topic. While yes the EFT doesn’t have AESA currently. Captor-M is a ridiculously strong Mechanical radar, making arguably to superior to some of the lower end AESA radars.

AN/APG-79 isnt a low end AESA radar

yes I know but just, saying generally speaking.

Not sure but watch it not be modeled yet again.

anything on the Rafale, J-whatever, or F-whatever thats AESA is beating the CAPTOR-M

Yeah, it should be the best mechanical radar basically ever put in a fighter jet, but it isn’t as good as the AN/APG-79, and it still lacks a lot of the advantages that AESA provides
