yes, though I really doubt the missile’s maneuverability after 10km, it’s like you can shoot someone down in 40km in ARB with AIM-120, but a experienced player can easily avoid the AIM in 10 km or farther. but sure new spaa will provide some pressure.
But India is a subtree right? I mean I agree it’s not on the list of vehicles I’d actually want to see, but as far as Indian aircraft go, it should be the first researchable one we get.
Unless they plan to ditch India as a subtree, we should get the MKI, and if they do ditch India then we should get Australia

False, half of IRR AGMs have over 12km tank lock range.
If you look at IIR Maverics or AGM-130, its 20km target lock, 40km point lock.

would be basically copy paste tree. we’re better off getting either subtree or just vehicles across other trees, like Su-25 or Ještěrka ;-)
Yeah, it (sadly) is a subtree and yes, the Su-30MKI is probably going to be added, but that doesn’t change how I feel about it.
And to be honest, if anything the Marut or the Tejas should be the first researchable plane from India

I know the code, but it needs to combine with additional parameters, vehicle size, weather.
You can try youself, in clear noon weather, max lock range of a tank is abuot 12km, for big trucks like pantsir it will be longer.
and the 20km limit if ground lock, is limited by GRB randering and similar additional parameters.
There won’t be any major developments anytime soon. But at some stage, yes.

ah damn i gotta tell my AGM-130s to stop locking Leopards from over 15kms away, what a drag, but im gonna tell them you said so, they will understand
i fact , I think Indian vehicles come to the game really slow and few compared to other branches.
the most unique about India is their air tree
they got Tejas, lots of foreign aircraft and most importantly indigenous weapons

the Tejas would be great as the first researchable Indian aircraft, but unfortunately it would require entirely unique assets to add, whereas the MKI is largely C&P, so while the Tejas would be nice, the MKI is more likely.
Also the MKI fits nicer into the tree, sliding in under the Tornado F.3 quite nicely, whereas the Tejas would break up the Typhoon line in a weird way. Though that is entirely possible as we’ve seen with China’s weird, F-16, J-10, Mirage 2000 line of aircraft
