yeah, i mean ATGM
thank you.

Does the US have one? I thought they just had one with hellfires and one with a crazy guy holding a JAV in the middle of a fire fight lol.
yeah we have CROWS-J on a few vehicles, most likely ingame on a stryker A1
ik hard to balance but its too cool to not be ingame now that i think of it again
JLTV with 30mm and Javelin
No explicit planning for Ajax (infact the only references to Javelin and Ajax is towards the Ares APC)
i think JLTV would be better vehicle, but would be cool to see this too
I wonder how gaijin would balance the Ares Overwatch when its missiles should be fire and forget
and thats easy. theyβll be SAL only
True which massively limits how effective they would be
If we got it as well, lets just hope they dont pull a typhoon and limit them to Brimstone 1s
I doubt there would be any reason to limit it to brimstone 1s when most of the maps in game the longest you are hitting some one is 2.5km
for safety of helicopters lol
could be used as makeshift SPAA with brimstone 2 or 3
I think helicopters are some of the last things that need protection tbh
i guess?
i dont really care if it gets brimstone 2 or 3 SAL since by then AH-1Z and AH-64E will have JAGM-MR and latest gen SPIKE-NLOS probably
hopefully we have researchable drones by then too
I doubt we will get JAGM-ERs or Brimstones on helicopters as with planes they dont like the idea of radar guided A2G weapons
We have high BR ATGM launchers, including a few with FnF ATGMs. So I dont think the Ajax Overwatch is actually all that unreasonable as it replaces the Gun + Spike with only Brimstones. It would basically be a modern Striker.
It could come fairly soon without issue imo. Heck, we even have a radar guided ATGM ground vehicle already in game
JAGM-MR is three mode seekr. IIR, Laser, MMW. probably has some GPS capability but not sure. for game, they could just not give it the MMW mode
yeah, would be nice to see more specialized ATGM vehicle like Ajax Overwatch and LAV-AT, M1253A1, M1256A1
Should be a subtree
