A dozer blade equipped Challenger 2 would be very fun and might actually be half decent. But What is needed is to simply give most/all existing CR2s that modification, not lock it behind another CR2.
But its the kind of thing Gaijin like doing to Britain at the moment. Rather than addressing the actual problems. They either throw a Soviet C&P at our tree or just throw a C&P of an existing vehicle.
True, but there are a good few that at least get accurate/autoloaded guns in recompense (which for some reason sit at or around the same BR (Chikugo, Akebono, Asheville, etc).
Id still argue that Britain has more than “spice” if they just modeled it. Stuff like the Challenger 1 Falcon for example. Would make an extremely interesting addition to the TT
The thing is, in this current time, the only quality that the British tree can offer is a tree that is almost copypaste free, and offers a playstyle that is unique to the British tree and no one elses. What playstyle? Lets not ask about it.
The only way Indian designs will make the tree better is by bringing absurdly powerful vehicles that mitigated its loss in authenticity. India is in fact assembling its own pantsir system and you know the rafale M. So that is possible but I would still say no to that.
I dont mind like the Bishma but like the OSA and Strella when we already had 2 10.0s Idk i think it just clutters the SPAA line since if you only use tech tree tanks we have more SPAA then MBTs at that br
Ofc, Soviet C&P from India shouldn’t steal the opportunity of the Domestic unique one which should’ve been added first.
IMO, I might be fine with Indian Strella, but It should’ve come later than Tracked Rapier.
For now, the Only Indian plane which I would like to see is the Indian MiG-23BN I guess.
It might treat the symptoms on British Rank 6~7 maybe?
I think the British Air Rank 6/7 is quite weak compared to its American counterpart for grinding.
(For me, Harrier GR.3 seems the best bet for Brit Rank 6 while AV-8C is considered as not worthful to play in US rank 6)
And MiG-23BN is at least, Playable on ARB unlike Bucc S.1/2 does. :/
At least it isn’t bumped to 4.0 as one poor boat. Most Frigates suck compared to destroyers, but this one is on another level.
Try to prove to Gaijin that it’s wrong they will never listen to feedback of naval player, especially about coastal fleet, while statistics will never show it, just because there are too few people playing them.
It’s also interesting if AI controlled vessels data is considered during BR changes, if it’s, then nations like France and Italy (Japan at lesser degree) have close to 0 chance for br to be changed, because even smart AI rarely (almost never, probably due to some assigned order) use vessels of these nations.
Assuming that was identical the Mig-23BN in the German tree. I dont entirely see how. Considering we already have the Jaguar GR1 and could get the TSR2 for about that BR as well
For the 9.0-10.0 part of the tree. I think its actually not too bad, but in desperate need of bug fixes like the 2-3 year old reports for SRAAM.
After that, aircraft like the Gnat and Hawk would round that part of the tree out nicely.
The actual weakspot in the TT imo, is the lack of an F-5/Mig-21 equivalent supersonic dogfighter for 10.7 ish. But for that I would suggest something like the SA Mirage IIIE or SA Cheatah rather than anything from India. Either that or a SARH slinging Hawk as it would have PD but be sub-sonic at the lower BR
