the art style of the remake is just great, that stands for the remakes. But yes, the story of the remakes goes veryyyyy weird after what was it the 2nd movie?
That being said until the 2nd movie it was a 1:1 remake of the anime series

The ending movie is just episode 25.5 cause you’re supposed to watch it in order with the series.
Yeah but the ending movie is played out in 4 dimensions (except for the last 10 minutes) and is therfore understandable to the human mind.
Episodes 25 and 26… aren’t.
